Nominated for a single Emmy in its short three season stint, Wonder Woman - which premiered in 1976 - was the third attempt by the major networks to bring the popular comic book character to TV. Created as the result of a collaboration between the multi-talented William M. Marston and DC Comics publisher Maxwell Gaines, Wonder Woman made her world premiere in a 1941 comic book. The final product of Gaines’ request for a female comic book hero, Marston never lived to see his creation become a television star (he died prematurely from skin cancer in 1947), but his legacy lives on through the Wonder Woman franchise which continues to entertain worldwide audiences to this day…

Wonder Woman follows the exploits of the Amazonian princess, Diana, who leaves her Paradise Island home in order to bring justice to the world of men. Athletic and intelligent, Diana Prince (as she’s known to the outside world) also possesses special powers that are brought about when she whirls around to transform into Wonder Woman. Her magic belt gives her added strength, her metallic bracelets deflect bullets, and her tiara doubles as a boomerang… In addition, she’s aided by a magic golden lasso which forces her captives to tell the truth! Season 1 of Wonder Woman takes place during the era of World War II where the Allies enlist the help of the female superhero to defeat the Nazis, while Seasons 2 and 3 take place in modern day times (1977-1978)…

The Wonder Woman DVD features a number of exciting episodes including the series premiere “Wonder Woman Meets Baroness Von Gunther” in which Col. Steve Trevor - the same man who crash-landed on Wonder Woman’s home island, and thus prompted her to enter the world of men - is accused of sabotaging a series of missions under his command. Charged with treason and espionage, Trevor can only have his name cleared by Wonder Woman who uncovers a vast conspiracy by Nazi sympathizers… Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “The Pluto File” in which Wonder Woman must apprehend an Irish-born spy who steals an American-made machine that controls earthquakes, and “Formula 407″ in which Wonder Woman travels to Mexico in order to recover a secret formula stolen by the Nazis…

Below is a list of episodes included on the Wonder Woman (Season 1) DVD:

Do you feel panicked, or exicted? Are you experiencing joy or depression? Do you have childlike visions of toys and celebration with the people you love? Or pressure, loneliness, alienation and annoying relatives?

Sometimes we really can’t help but ask “What is celebration? Do we really need it?”

I can tell you there were times after my divorce and my daughter’s death that I asked myself those questions. My kids had moved out. I was alone. Holidays were just painful reminders of the life I no longer had. So I worked. I worked long hours just to avoid the malls with all that chirpy pain-in-the-neck holiday merriment. Bah humbug.

But the truth was, it hurt too much to celebrate. And I was the loser.

But you know what? Celebration is a ritual of life. It gives us a set of patterns, symbols and actions that mark important events and transitions in our lives. Right now, we’re about to celebrate the ending of one year and the beginning of the next. It’s important to do that. It’s important to mark these times in our lives. You might say “It’s just another day.” and that might be true. But there’s also a spiritual reality at this time that we need to recognize if only to celebrate the incredible, wonderful miracle of you.

“We can think of sacred ritual as the intersection of ordinary reality and spiritual reality. Ritual provides a safe framework, or container, for us to experience the sacred.” Rachel Pollock - The Power of Ritual

Over the years I’ve found a number of different rituals and practices that have given me that connection. That spiritual reality. None of them are time consuming or difficult. In fact, I can honestly say they restored my sense of joy and wonder.

Releasing the past. This is the first step to recognizing endings and embracing beginnings. It doesn’t mean we have to forget all that came before. It just means that we’re releasing all the negative energy and stress from the past. When we take time to release the energy of disappointment or hurt, we open ourselves to forgiveness and love.

Write out the name of any limiting feelings you may be having. It could be sadness, or guilt, or a feeling of lack. If there are a lot of them, put each on a separate piece of paper. Then take each one and burn it. Then the next, then the next, until they’re all gone. You may throw them into a fireplace, or burn them over a candle. As you do, watch them go up in smoke, rising upward and leaving your heart. Feel the release. Isn’t it wonderful?

Invite new feelings to come in to take their place - love, sharing, friendship, creativity, or whatever you want more of in your life. You just created a vacuum, and nature rushes in to fill a vacuum. Make sure it is filled with all the good stuff you want in your life. Then seal the deal with another ritual. Celebrate each new feeling with a sip of a warm drink. Like hot cider. Or hot chocolate. Or mulled wine. Be sure you savor the taste and sensation as it warms and fills you. Know that these new qualities you are inviting into your life are now part of you and will grow with you in the coming year.

Gratitude. During the season of giving and receiving, it is easy to get caught up in the material hustle. So ask yourself: why the gifts? When you stop and think about it, they don’t have to be an obligation. A burden. If you choose to buy gifts, recognize they’re just a human way of showing our love and care. They’re an opportunity to show our gratitude for what comes to us.

Think of other ways to express your deepest gratitude for all that you’ve been given. Allow yourself to notice it all around you, then honor it with thanks the moment it comes to you. This can be a game you can play by yourself or with others. Every time you smell a holiday scent, like cinnamon, turkey, evergreens or cider, think of a specific thing for which you are grateful. Or you may want to pick out holiday symbols, like snowmen, stars, angels, reindeer or Santa to trigger your sense of gratitude. Have fun coming up with ideas, and appreciating the rich symbolism we have during the holidays.

Renewal. As you get ready for the New Year, start fresh by releasing whatever hold you may have on the past. Release any negative thoughts you may have or people who don’t support your excellence and growth. Take time to acknowledge any darkness in your heart and replace it with light and possibility. You can honor yourself by making this the best holiday yet.

All the world’s cameras, films and other photographic equipment are no more than tools for making landscape pictures. Cameras don’t think for themselves. Whether we use digital or film camera, the same photographic principles apply.

We don’t have to stick to many rules to produce great landscape images, but knowing what they are will make your pictures more successful. There are two salient points in landscape photography: how to compose your image, and how to use available natural light in any given situation.

Lets start off with light: There are three basic qualities of light: intensity, direction and colour.

Intensity: refers to the strength of light. If the sun is high in the sky, light can be harsh and too strong. Cloudy days bring soft and defused light.

Direction: this refers to light placement. There are three categories of light placement: front, back and side-lighting. Side lighting produces more texture between light and shade.

Colour: the colour of sunlight varies depending upon conditions and time of day. If the sun shines at the beginning or the end of the day, the colour of the light will be much warmer, and will lead to a much more dramatic scene.

Understanding natural light will develop your ability to see. You will start to see the beauty of light in a different and exciting way.

In landscape photography it is very important to take care with composition. A normal scene can be transformed by paying close attention to detail. Composition is all about how you arrange the elements in front of you.

Here are a few ideas in which you may find useful.

Lead with lines: To lead with lines into the main part of the scene will draw your viewer into your image. These lines don’t have to be straight. Lines, such as tracks, riverbanks or fences, may work successfully.

Foreground interest: Simple foreground objects can give your landscape a greater sense of depth. Use a small aperture (f/22) to keep the entire scene in focus.

Natural frames: Frame your scene with the elements all around you. This will focus attention on the main part of the picture. Trees make great natural frames.

These are just a few essential guidelines, and combined with a good eye, you have all you need to get the best out of photography - especially landscape photography. These are just a few rules to get you started, but like all rules, they are there to be broken.

The first step needed to overcome a bad credit is to snatch a copy and take a look into your own credit report because incorrect information on your credit report will only make matters worse if you already have a bad credit rating. According to the US Public Interest Research Group, one quarter of the credit reports ordered contained errors. You can order a copy of your credit from three credit reporting agencies – Experian, Trans Union and Equifax. You are entitled to one free copy of your credit report per year, and each time you are refused credit, employment or insurance.

If you are sure that there are false Statements on your Report, write a letter to each of the Credit Reporting Agencies. Explain the questionable items in detail, and provide proof to back up your claims (Paid Receipts for example). Investigation takes 30 days, and decision will be made after that period.

If you are planning to get professional help, be aware of your rights as a consumer outline in the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA). According to some of the provisions provided by this Act, the credit repair company cannot make false claims about their services, or charge you until they have completed the promised services, must have a detailed description of the services to be performed, duration, and guarantees if they can offer any.

One important step that can be really helpful in repairing bad credit is to negotiate with your creditors for a repayment plan keeping in mind how much you can afford and intend to pay. It may also be possible to get them to remove the charge off from your report and replace it with “paid as agreed” by offering to pay a certain amount per month. Many creditors agree to remove the negative from credits report in return for payment because they are sure that the will get their money back this way. You can also try to get them to drop the interest too in exchange for a lump sum as first payment.

Another action that can be taken in order to deal with bad credit is to get help through a credit counseling company. Many universities, military bases, credit unions, housing authorities, and branches of the U.S. Cooperative Extension Service operate nonprofit credit counseling programs. These agencies can advise you on managing your money and debts, help you develop a budget, and offer free educational materials and workshops, information and referrals. Certified and trained counselors will discuss your entire financial situation with you, advice and help you to develop a personalized plan to overcome your financial problems.

Here are some other important steps that can be taken to improve bad credit:

1.Pay all of your bills on time, which accounts for 35% of your FICO score.

2.Get a secured credit card to help reestablish your credit

3.Request in writing to your creditors to reduce the credit limits on your accounts to lower your amount of available credit since the total amount of available credit is considered by lenders even if you owe nothing.

4.Request in writing to your creditors to close some of your credit card accounts and report this status change to all the three credit-reporting agencies.

–About Domain Names–

Choosing a domain name for your web site is a major step for any individual or organization. You need domain names that are sticky, short, meaningful, easy to remember and at the roll of your tongue!

It is very easy to choose a domain name but difficult to find a good name, simply because of the fact that most of the good domain names are taken up by organisations. These domain name organisations take up hundreds of thousands of domain names and treat them as investments. It is not as easy to choose a good domain name. Sometimes, even web professionals spend hours at their computers to find good domain names!

Domain name registrations are cheap to maintain and subscriptions typically last a year. The subscriptions are renewable and paid to registrars by the design companies.

The most common domain names end with .com, .net, etc. Country specific domain names will end with com.au, co.uk, .co.jp, etc. For organisations, domain names will end with .org or be country specific- .org.au, .org.uk, etc.

Not sure about domain names and web sites? Seek web professional help.

There are a plenty of free e bay.com free auction template services out there and I would like to help you find the service that will best suit your needs by comparing what i feel is the top two contenders. FoamTemplates.com and Auctioninsights.com.

In the left corner… we have www.auctioninsights.com with the number one ranking website in google for the coveted search phrase, “free auction templates” This site contains a large amount of helpful information but the Template Designer does lack customization options. You can enter a title, description, and shipping details like most template makers, but are limited to 3 full size pictures, and there is no easy way to change your color scheme without diving into Html. I would say this site does have an edge on reach because of the helpful e bay.com related information and the site age is much greater so there is a slight reputation boost as well.

In the right corner… we have www.foamtemplates.com. This is a new site and lacks the trusty useful information the opponent has, but it has the strength of being able to not only format your information into tables, but also the ability to easily edit everything there is to edit about your templates design. Many free colors, fonts, and backgrounds are available. You can also upgrade to the premium edition for unlimited picture uploads. When you upload a picture to foam premium, it is optimized, resized, and can also be automatically thumbnailed for you. Great time saver.

I hope you find this review to be helpful in determining which site will best suit your needs. And above all, enjoy the FREE templates and information!

Do you remember looking through your parent’s old photo albums, or maybe the pictures of loved ones on the wall at your grandparents, and ever wonder who that person really was?

The act of scrapbooking encompasses more than just putting photos into an album; it is the recording of those moments, events and seemingly mundane times in our lives. I believe that in this era of fast paced, want it now, lifestyle we tend to forget to really stop and get to know someone, including ourselves and our family. Although I am not suggesting that we go back in time, I think it is important that we remember to share on a personal level with those that we love.

Scrapbooking is one great tool to do just that. We can record our personal likes/dislikes, beliefs and dreams with those that know us best and even those who we have yet to meet or may come into our family long after we are gone. I know there have been times when a single moment has made me smile or capture my awe and I have believed I would never forget it, but now could not share it with you because it is gone. What if that had been recorded in even a single sentence and could be shared?

Now I am not saying that every moment in our lives has to be recorded, but if you have a tool already in place, when those important “I don’t ever want to forget this” moment’s happen, it does not take much to make sure it is not forgotten. Scrapbooking is an easy option with so many ways to make it personally yours.

My children are in those wonderful pre-teen years and are off doing so many great and wonderful things as they discover their abilities and dreams. I love to record our conversations when they discover something new about themselves or the world around them. It is really no different then when your toddler first discovers a butterfly and can follow it around the yard. You will always hold those moments in your heart. My children ask me on a regular basis to tell them something special I remember about them when they were little. I find myself telling the same few stories over again. This year I have made it my goal to add those moments into my scrapbook, so that they will always have those memories to ponder and share with their children and grandchildren. They were moments that defined them and put smiles on their faces every time they are told.

I challenge you to make this the year you record some of those memories locked inside your heart for all of those in your world to share. Scrapbooking those memories may make them smile, maybe even cry, but it will touch them forever.

Bug Huntress QA Lab announces of extending its BugHuntress Test
Suit functionality for Palm OS 3.0-5.4 Kharkiv, Ukraine -
October 4, 2005 - Bug Huntress QA Lab, the leading software
testing company for testing applications for PDA’s and smart
phones being the originator and of the pioneering BugHuntress
Test Suite which is an automated testing system for PDA
applications, announces its BugHuntress Test Suite functionality
extension for application testing on Palm OS compatible
handhelds and emulators, working on Palm OS 3.0-5.4.

Bug Huntress Team feels proud to remind of its BugHuntress Test
Suite automated testing system which is a client-server system
with Windows server that enables testing both on Palm OS devices
and their emulators by comparing the result with reference
values at control points. PC and Palm parts of BugHuntress Test
Suite interact through COM-port, by using USB-bus and via TCP/IP
protocol. Automated testing is performed using special
scenarios, scripts and control points (e.g. screen CRC, controls
states, databases states, etc.) which basically represent
software test plan written in Java-script with BHTS commands.
The system’s flexibility allows to script any test plan and
easily carry out functional, output and stress testing. Test
Suite is especially convenient for regressive testing, when
changes to program code are continually made throughout software
lifecycle. Some useful application’s features are: capability to
control reference sums comparison, capability to take
screenshots during test execution and compare them with the
reference ones, handy results logging.

The overwhelming advantage of the enhanced BugHuntress Test
Suite if compared to proximate products for embedded systems
with sophisticated human interfaces is its ability to build in
between the Palm OS and the application being tested and
intercept the wider variety of events on the system level. It
needs not to emulate system pressing on buttons but intercepts
events within the system.

Now the enhanced version of BugHuntress Test Suite supports the
all the above OSes. It also now supports WinCE and Symbian
platforms.

About Bug Huntress QA Lab The company was founded in 1998 as an
independent software development and software testing company.
Wide experience in QA gained by the team and high demand on
testing services transformed the QA department into a new
brand-Bug Huntress QA Lab (www.bughuntress.com). Bug Huntress QA
Lab in cooperation with its QArea owner-company has developed a
variety of cross-platform software solutions for business,
security, healthcare and gaming industry.

Electric sunglasses is the name of a design of skateboarding sunglasses. They come in many great designs such as Electric EC/DC, Electric VOL and Electric Maxwell. You can have electric sunglasses with or without polarized lenses – whatever you prefer in designer sunglasses. They are very fashionable and a little less costly than other designer sun glasses.

Well known personalities in the world of snow sports and skateboarding have endorsed Electric sunglasses. They come in nine different styles, including Electric Vol sunglasses and at the reasonable price of $60 to $95 per pair, they are well worth the money. Compared to other designer sun glasses that sell for over $200 a pair because of the polarized lenses, you know you are getting a bargain when you buy Electric.

All the frames for the Electric sunglasses, except for the Flux aviator style in the Electric line, are made from grylamide. This is a nylon material so that the sunglasses, even the Electric Vol sunglasses, are lightweight and fit snugly to your face. When you are flying through the air, you don’t want the sunglasses to slip and distract you. This is why there are rubber grips on the nosepiece that stick even tighter when they get wet.

The lenses in Electric sunglasses are made from polycarbonate – a shatterproof material. These sunglasses go through stringent testing before they go to market to make sure they meet the shatterproof test. The nylon frame comes in a wraparound design so that no UV rays cane get around the sides and you can keep the sunglasses firmly in place.

Electric Vol sunglasses do not have polarized lenses. These sunglasses have thin frames and large lenses. The style seems reminiscent of the sunglasses of the 1940’s and the Vol sunglasses are designed for fashion. You also have a choice in the color or lens you want, such as oyster/bronze, lavender or white gloss. Some of the Electric sunglasses, such as the Electric Maxwell and Electric Noise, do contain these lenses. If you can get polarized sunglasses for such a low price, why pay the high prices for biker sunglasses when these work just as well?

Electric sunglasses, great sunglasses at a great price, and fashionable too.

For a website totally devoted to Sunglasses visit Peter’s Website Sunglasses Explained and find out about Rayban Sunglasses as well as Polarized Sunglasses and more, including Gucci Sunglasses, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Rayban Sunglasses, Chanel Sunglasses, Oakley Sunglasses and more.
