RC jets are by far the most exciting and exhilarating of any remote control airplane that a person can fly. Radio controlled jets come in many different sizes, engine types and shapes. The most amazing thing about these toy jets are that they can reach speeds of up to 100 miles per hour! Of course that isn’t the average speed for all remote control jets, but it does give you an idea of what you can do in the future when you get to be a more experienced pilot.

So you want to fly RC jets? Well then I can help you by teaching you the basics that you need to know too get started. First off, you need to learn about the different types of RC jets that exist on the market, and what type of engine powers them.

Ducted fan jets are the most popular among hobbyist, and are very easy to fly also. Plus, they are a lot less dangerous, since the propeller and engine is located inside of a duct, which protects adults and children from it. Ducted fan jets also are very quiet and operate smoothly, requiring very little maintenance and fine tuning.

The next type of jet is called pusher jets, and they are much easier, slower and inexpensive then ducted fan jets are. RC pusher jets have a propeller dead center in the back of them that just pushes it along through the air. Plus, with an aerodynamic design, it gives the jet that extra speed and maneuverability that we all love about them.

Last but not least we will talk about turbine ducted powered RC jets, which are as close as you can come to owning a real jet. Turbine ducted engines use real jet fuel and run just like a real jet engine does. For hobbyists who want the realistic jet flying experience, this type of R/C jet is for you. Of course, you need experience flying and operating remote control airplanes before you progress to turbine ducted jets.

The speeds of turbine engines are very fast and can actually turn your model jet into a lethal weapon if you can’t fly it properly. This means that you could get seriously injured if you don’t know what you are doing. So if you are going to get into remote control jets, start with a pusher, then progress to a ducted fan jet. After you have gained experience from those crafts, then you should move onto turbine ducted engines.

The next important thing to discuss is about RC jet maintenance and what you need to do too take care of your jet properly. You should always use a good, high quality, fuel that has the right amount of oil in it. Also, make sure turbine ducted engines have the proper fuel and air mixture going through its engine.

Another good maintenance tip is to keep your engine properly tuned if it is a fuel powered turbine jet, but if it is electric, just make sure that you keep it in a cool dry place so the motor will stay operational.

Remote control jets can be so fun sometimes that it is scary, but every flyer needs to always keep in mind that it can be dangerous if flown near people, because of the speed of them. Also, remember that jet engines, electric or gas, operate at very high speeds, so to much use in one flight can cause your engine or motor to overheat and fail.

Read more about RC jets on Michael’s website. Plus, you can get more information on RC model airplanes by exploring the rest of his site.

SMS Gateway is a utility that uses certain integrated software to send and receive text and binary “Messages” over GSM/PCS and cellular/mobile telephone networks via the Internet. They often act as a single point of access to the wireless world.

An SMS Gateway fully supports the following Internet Protocol interfaces;
POP3 for message transmission, and SMTP for message reception
A bi-directional HTTP/XML interface
A simple URL based message submission mechanism
SNMP Traps for notification of important events

Why prefer an SMS Gateway?

The Internet actually enables you to convert your emails to SMS messages.
There is an option to use a Public SMS Gateway, which allows you to compose and send messages to devices on other networks, and friends or business associates without SMS-equipped phones or pagers from the service provider’s web site. Public gateways are also often referred to as SMSC or SMS centers.

Public SMS Gateway

For those who don’t have access to e-mail accounts, or SMS-equipped phones, a public Gateway (which available from any computer with Internet access) is an ideal and convenient way in keeping contact. The fact that even big organizations have begun using the Public Gateways to send messages to a large number of people tells a lot of its convenience.

Educational institutions, Governmental as well as non-Governmental Organizations, Federations, and Associations and other sections of the society are fast benefiting the boon of SMS Gateways - affordable, convenient, and effective. Giving timely alerts during impending natural disasters like tornadoes, typhoons, hurricanes, floods or earthquakes has become a possibility through Public Gateway.

There is a limit to everything

Stories on genies and fairies often narrate about granting wishes down to the minutest details of the wish. SMS Gateway, like any other human innovation, is unfortunately not a wish granted by the genies or fairies. Since technology is still developing, SMS Gateways do have some shortcomings, which in the long run might be rectified. The areas, which need to be rectified and enhanced, should be understood before opting for SMS Gateways:

The 160 alphanumeric text character limits remains in effect. If your email exceeds the limit, the message will be sent in sequential parts.
A Public SMS Gateways file is not secure. Unlike Web transmissions that occur as secure transactions, there are chances that a third party will monitor the cell phone number and message contents when a message is sent through a Public Gateway. In this case, mobile-to-mobile messages sent through Short Message Service Centers might seem to have an edge over a Public Gateway in terms of security; but the chances of being monitored are not left out.

But given the fact that SMS Gateways are benefiting a lot, these limitations are no hindrances. Numerous Gateway providers are making sure that their customers get the most out of their services. To begin with, you simply have to choose an SMS gateway provider, which you feel, can meet your needs.

15 minutes talk time per day Get enough minutes for everyone on
your plan. If you have more than three people on the same plan,
you should avoid 300 and 500 minute plans. Assuming you have
free nights and weekends, a 300 minute plan works out to 15
minutes of talk time per day. This is certainly not a good deal,
even for two people. Unless you like to pay outrageous per
minute fees, get as many minutes as you can afford.

Text Away Teenagers love text messaging. So do cell phone
companies since it costs about 10 cents to send out a message

not internet ready so they can’t go online even if they wanted
to. The same applies to camera phones, enhanced phones and
anything else that can end up costing you at the end of the
month.

Family Policy So you have your incredibly jazzed up,
multi-color-camera-MMS phone. Can you exercise restraint?
Everyone should agree on what is considered acceptable use for a
cell phone, such as keeping in touch when you plan to be late.
You should also define unacceptable uses, such as draining the
minutes without notifying the primary account holder so everyone
else goes over their limits.

Roaming Fees Almost every carrier has a high end plan where you
can avoid roaming charges. This is another feature that is well
worth the cost.

Monitor your statements Every charge on your statement should be
valid, always. Do not hesitate to call and ask for an
explanation if something was higher than you expected or if
there was an error. Ask for a credit if needed, and do the
follow up. Sometimes, a credit can take up to two billing cycles
to appear on your statement.

You must communicate with your friends and family to take
advantage of these great plans. The structure of cellular plans
coupled with the convenience of having it at all times can make
any cell phone plan a disaster for your family budget. You must
do some additional research if you want to make your cell phone
the best gadget your family ever bought. To get started, keep
this article handy, find a reputable web dealer, read the fine
print and sign up for your family plan today.

The world online can be a scary place and sometimes it can get downright nasty. From viruses and spyware to internet identity theft, the information stored on your computer is under constant assault and should be protected at all costs. Why? Unscrupulous hackers will stop at nothing to get your precious personal information, and you have to stay one step ahead of them to ensure that they don’t.

Let’s begin our search for the reason why we should protect our PCs with the proper security by looking at the ways that they can be assaulted online. Here are just a few of the nasty things waiting for an unprotected PC online:

Computer viruses are PC software programs that you accidentally download to your computer through an email attachment or other type of download. Once installed on your computer, a virus can interfere with your PC’s operation; record, corrupt or delete data; and spread itself to other computers through your network or the internet.

Identity theft occurs when some unscrupulous internet hacker, thief or otherwise bad guy gets a hold of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or other sensitive information and uses it to commit fraud or other crimes. Once obtained, this information is used to commit a wide variety of crimes. Those crimes include: credit card fraud, utilities fraud, banking and loan fraud, employment fraud, social security fraud, tax return fraud, medical fraud, securities and investment fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and immigration and government documentation fraud.

Spyware are software programs that you download onto your computer along with many other software applications. This software is then used to track your online browsing habits so that you can be “hit” with pop ups that you will be more likely to respond to. Not only is this software an invasion of your privacy, it also can compromise your data and affect your PCs performance.

How to Protect Your PC

The number one thing that you can do to protect your PC is to have an operable firewall. A firewall can help protect your computer against security attacks. While most operating systems come with a firewall already in operation, you can update your firewall or get one for free if you don’t have one from most PC security software companies.

In order to get the best PC security that software can provide, it is recommended that you use anti-spyware and anti-virus software in addition to a firewall. All of these anti-software and filters prevent hackers from accessing our personal information stored on our computers. They also protect against programs and viruses that we can unknowingly download. Once installed on our computer, these programs can direct us or our information to sites set on thievery.

More Protection for Your PC

Even though all of the above mentioned software applications go a long way in protecting your PC from harm, you may want additional protection to ensure that your PC’s vulnerable spots are impenetrable. Here are just a few examples of the security software that you may want for your PC:

Privacy Protector - As mentioned earlier, spyware can track everything that you do on your computer. This is because everything that you do on your computer leaves a trace or electronic trail that is stored on your computer. With the right software, prying eyes can see and access any sites you have visited and files you have accessed or shared while online by exposing this electronic trail. Privacy protection software helps reduce this risk by erasing the electronic trail that you have left behind.

Secure Delete - When you delete files on your computer, you may think that they are trashed and inaccessible, but with the right recovery utilities, your deleted data can be recovered easily. Secure deletion software makes sure that your deleted data is gone forever and safe from sticky fingers.

Spyware Detective - Added spyware detection software will help you spot spyware programs immediately and have them removed from your computer at the click of a button.

As you can see, there are many dangers lurking on the internet including spyware, viruses and hackers. Just one unprotected computer can be a highly lucrative capture for the right thieves and provide them with countless data that reveals everything from your browsing habits to credit card numbers. Make sure that your PC does not fall into their grasp. Protect it with the proper PC security programs.

In Habakkuk, the prophet cries out in a lament complaint twice, only to hear back from God a very unassuring response: Wait for me to answer.

And Habakkuk’s complaints are legitimate. He is one of the faithful in Israel, and even though he knows Israel has its faults and is being punished by God for their infidelity, he also knows that Israel is better than the nations around them, if for no other reason than their special relationship with God. Yet, Habakkuk sees the “righteous” being destroyed by the wicked (in the first case, Assyria; in the second, Babylon). So he cries out to God.

At first he receives a satisfactory answer: God is raising up another nation to take out the wickedness of Assyria. But in between God’s answer and the prophet’s second complaint, something went horribly wrong, and Israel was once again accosted by brutality. Thus, Habakkuk’s second complaint.

But the answer he receives this time is baffling. It comes almost as silence. “Wait,” God says. “I assure you I will do something, but wait for it. Wait for me.”

How long can we wait? As Christians, we read this and are still looking for God’s action. Even the coming of Jesus didn’t slow down the wickedness we see all around us. And, often times, this wickedness pervades our lives and slows us down. We see:

+ A brother in Christ passed over for a promotion because he won’t flirt with his female boss

+ A sister in Christ ridiculed and left by her non-Christian husband

+ Christian teenagers ostracized at high school activities because they go to youth group on Friday night and not the drunken parties

How long, O God, before you set things right?

But as with Habakkuk, all we can do is wait, and rest assured in the meantime that God is working and that the arrogant will not endure (2:5). In the meantime, the righteous will live by their faithfulness (2:4).

So we set our hearts on God, make a commitment to him based on faith, and live our lives, knowing that in the end, God will set things right and reward our faithfulness to him.

You’ve cheated yourself out of a successful lifestyle for years by saying all manner of things block you. And all along you were doing all the blocking. Today is your day for a turnaround as you give yourself permission to make a success of your life.

Motivate yourself to get a hold of this truth now by being open minded and open hearted. As you read on you will learn the secret of how others have begun to turn their lives around. They went from a life of lack and limitation to one of abundance. You can turn your back on lack forever.

1. Give Yourself Permission to Be a Success

Just start to be the successful person you want to be. Listen to CD’s and DVD’s of those whose lifestyle you want to enjoy. Be like them in your feelings. Be like them in your thoughts. Be like them in conversation. Mirror all that they are.

Read their books to get the details of their lifetyle and become like them in every detail. Keep a tight rein on your thoughts to make sure you’re thinking like them.

2. Give Yourself Permission to Do The Things The Successful Do

Begin in small ways to give yourself permission to do the things they do. Go visit the places they go.

Associate with the people they associate with. Use all the available information about them on the TV to hang out in their areas. Bathe yourself in their habits as displayed in videos. As you watch them remember the story of the well know motivational speaker who began with only one video of his role
model.

He lived miles away from him but he had the video. He watched it and watched it. After watching it more than 120 times his audiences said they couldn’t tell the difference between him and his mentor. He sounded the same. He acted the same.

He got the lifestyle of his mentor.

3. Give Yourself Permission to Have Things The Successful Have

As you enter the lifestyle of abundance of your mentor - having first decided that you will do everything legal and ethical needed to get the lifestyle - allow yourself to enjoy your new assets. Don’t be greedy and remember that it is more blessed to give than to receive.

Especially make sure you give back to God the first ten percent of all you earn. In this way you acknowledge that He has given you all you’ve got.

Expect to share what you have with others. Give and you will be given even greater levels of success.

Reach down and help others to discover the truth that they too can give themselves permission to have a successful lifestyle.

As you work your new found success plan, keep at Giving Yourself Permission to Be a Success, Giving Yourself Permission to Do The Things The Successful Do, and Giving Yourself Permission to Have Things The Successful Have. Rejoice that your day for a turn-around has arrived as you give yourself
permission to make a success of your life and continue to give success away to others.

I was very fortunate as a young man growing up. I not only had the opportunity to be around an extra ordinary father but my grandfather also went quite a bit past average. As a male child, the positive encouraging guidance of an adult male is certainly among the most important of all of his life’s influence’s. Of course as a kid I didn’t have any appreciation for the abundant character of those doing the influencing. It’s only been since I’ve been in the position of parent that I realize the incredible, if not sometimes overwhelming responsibility and care one must take in the shaping of the minds of our children.

One of the things I came out of my fathers house with the knowledge of is the importance of questions. Again, at the time I was COMPLETELY unable to appreciate his intentions but my dad always asked questions. Hard questions. Son, What are you going to do with the rest of you life? (Well um… dad, since I’m only 2 right now can I think about it a little bit and get back to you?) And he always insisted on getting answers. I learned very early that “I don’t know” and the shoulder thing were not answers. It was made clear that if my dad asked me a question that I didn’t know the answer to I had to… hold on, here it comes, …THINK up, and present my best answer. Did you catch that?

The process of answering questions requires one to THINK. Think about it. When you go into your vast resources of knowledge to pull out an answer to a question, especially one that is truly challenging you find yourself thinking about all sorts of things. That’s why asking questions is so important to the learning process.

I think it’s a good idea to be asking yourself questions pretty much constantly. And answering them. It keeps you sharp.

On the way out here, first a question-
If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, what would and would not matter to you today?

Then a statement -

Live ‘as if’ you were going to die tomorrow.

Questions are the answer kids.

Live some. Love some. Learn some. Everyday.
