Many businesses are considering VOIP for their telephone businees needs. Many don’t know exactly when they should consider it an option for them. Many do not understand how it differs from regular telephone service and how the two differ.

Many companies are now beginning to look into alternatives to high priced telephone systems currently in use. They are realizing that there are huge benefits financially to those switching over to VOIP. They are realizing there is greater functionality with VOIP as well as cost savings and room for growth.

The simple basics of VOIP is that it uses high speed internet lines to carry voice traffic instead of telephone lines.

There are two basic technologies.

IP telephony runs over a local area network also known as a LAN. this is a very cost effective way for communicating within an organization. It allows voice transmissions between people within a company who are part of an internal network.

VoIP is carried over a wide area network also know as a WAN. VoIP can be used to transmit voice through a WAN (such as the internet) or carry voice over a public WAN (such as the Internet) or a private WAN, which provides enhanced security for communications.

Why would a business consider making this change?

Large companies currenly use PBX systems. This is a private phone system within an organization. Users work with a certain number of lines for all external calls.

Some companies use a cental office exchange service know as Centrex, which is basically a PBX in which all routing occurs not on a company’s premises, but at the local telephone company.

Some use “Key systems”, which are very small PBXs, designed primarily for small offices.

These systems all share the same problem. When it comes to long distance the costs are enormous. As more and more this becomes a global world, long distance becomes a major necessity and this means one thing…large long-distance bills, Coupled with this these systems are difficult to change or expand with company growth and are unsuited to support more technically advanced communications. Because these systems are based upon proprietary technologies, companies are limited to only what the phone companies provide.

VOIP services make this a thing of the past. As VOIP gains popularity among companies seeking more cost effective services these antiquated phone systems are slowing disappearing. Expansion of services will be a breeze because of the technology involved with VOIP.

Companies will benefit from reduced overall costs as IP-based voice technology can virtually eliminate toll calls. It also slashes the cost of making add-ons, moves and changes to the system.

Enhanced functionality. VOIP offers all the options that callers are used to using such as call waiting, caller ID, unified messaging, directory services and vertical-specific applications. In addition, VOIP is a standard, open protocol, allowing companies to build their own audio applications or purchase other applications that will come from software developers.

Easy Expanion. As your company expands and grows this cost effective system will allow for expansion with very little cost.

Easy To Use. With VOIP, employees wil have many options–they can use a VOIP phone that is identical to a regular desk phone or use a “softphone” which loads into desktops, laptops or PDAs as software. Added benefit is that they will be able to use their telephone number in any location.

In time VOIP networks will become even more usefull as it will be able to support the convergence of data, video and voice services. This will enable companies to be ready for a plethora of multimedia applications that are emerging from developers. VOIP technology will give guaranteed levels of reliability, quality of service and security.

VOIP is now a fully developed technology, providing companies with a valuable voice system today, and allowing for the latest technological advances that will develop in the future.

Companies need to get in on the ground floor to take advantage of all the new technology that is coming and the savings it will afford.

Desiring to have fun is natural, normal and an a sound approach to a healthy state of being. Your life cannot help but flourish if your daily routine is infused with FUN. Consider it a basic need along with food, shelter, clothing, Etc! Of course, this is not to say that you don’t take important things seriously. It is to say, however, that you don’t treat every experience as though your life depends on it.

Old patterning may have taught us that having fun is acceptable in its proper place and time. And for some, fun is interpreted as a childish action and not appropriate behavior for an adult. Letting go of modeling that no longer serves us creates a natural vacuum and an unblocked channel for fresh new energy, FUN, to come into our live. Start introducing and enveloping this light hearted approach to living at a relaxed and gentle pace, as this is not a test and there is no “pass-fail”.

Here are a some simple actions that will generate FUN in your life:

- Share Yourself with Others! Start with a SMILE. It works.

Smile at a person you pass on the street, smile and wave at a neighbor; smile and greet your pet at the door; smile at your waiter and leave a really big tip because you’re having a great day; smile and start a conversion with the cashier; smile when you pick up the phone, the caller will hear it in your voice, And on and on!!

- Nurture Yourself. MAKE some time each day for a “mind” Vacation.

When we were kids fun was scheduled into our school schedule. “Recess” was a time to play games, laugh with our friends and frolic on the playground. By breaking for fun we returned to the classroom feeling refreshed, invigorated and better able to concentrate on the tasks at hand. So, schedule in “Recess”. Jump in a pile of leaves; go for a 10 minute walk; next time you see a rainbow, stop and really admire it; test drive a really expensive car; sit and relax; rent a funny movies, pop some popcorn and laugh; read a book; listen to music; play a game with the kids; jump on the bed; play hop-scotch; take a drive to no where; stand on your head. Do what presents itself. And make sure you honor your appointment with fun as much as you would any other entry in your calendar!

- Pat Yourself on the Back, Often.

Celebrate all the successes in your life. Many times we get hung up on that obvious situation that is causing us turmoil and sapping our energy. If this happens call a time out, breath, and one by one count the things in your life you are proud of and appreciate. What a great way to feel uplifted!

- Un burden Yourself

Start to clear away the old dead parts of your life. Return a call, get rid of all the clothes you can’t fit into, call a service to clean your house, clear and organize your desk area, be willing to let go of an old “grudge” you be holding on to. Do what is in your face at the moment! Easy does it now, this is not a race.

- Let the Outside, In

As children we were taught to protect ourselves, to beware. Now is the time to drop our imaginary guard.. Look at life as a conspiracy to bring you only the very best. I guarantee doors you did not know existed will start to swing open, bringing you a life beyond your wildest and fondest dreams!

- Veto Debt, Take on Agreements

Throw out any words in your vocabulary that don’t have a pleasant tone. For example; for some the word “debt” may feel mundane and heavy. If this is the case, the words “agreement”or “arrangement” may be good replacements. After all we have a lot of words to choice from!

- Be That

Think about what you enjoy the most about other people. For example, is it because they have a positive attitude, joke around, interact in a friendly way, etc. Then do it!

- Give Away all your “Shoulds and Have Tos”

Lets face it, not one of us has to do anything. We all make choices. So stand tall, take a “I’m in charge” attitude and notice how you step into your day (and life) with a new found sense of anticipation and wonder.

- What’s Fun?

Take some time to ponder what “fun” is for you, then take action steps to participate “just for the fun of it”. And, whenever you hear or read about an event or activity that fascinates you add it to your “fun” to do list.

- Watch a Child

We forgot how to have fun. So an easy and FUN way to help us remember is to watch a child . Feel the magic and wonder they emanate . Take it in. It is contiguous!

- Allow Time for Surprises

Every now and then do something nice for someone totally unexpected. Call someone up and tell him or her how much you appreciate them; give someone a back rub, when crossing a toll ridge or entering a toll road, pay the fare for the vehicle behind you; return a grocery cart to the stall; put coins in expired parking meters; give Hershey’s Kisses to people; leave your change in the soda machine for the next person.

- Throw this Away!

This article is a tool to assist. Use the parts that work, and throw the rest away. There is one thing that you can always depend on, it is you! Trust yourself. Your inner voice, or gut feelings, is your personal assistant on duty 24/7.

I want to speak of, the Faith of the believer in Christ, the Faith in the Church and the faith within ourselves.

In the Revised version of the Bible, it speaks of faith in this manner; Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance (trustworthiness and abiding, unwavering confidence. To know what is and is not.) of things hoped for, the proving, (Trying; ascertaining; evincing; experiencing.)of things not seen.

Barnes states of this version; Quote; The idea here is, “ground or confidence.” There is scarcely any verse of the New Testament more important than this, for it states what is the nature of all true faith, and is the only definition of it which is attempted in the Scriptures. Eternal life depends on the existence and exercise of faith.” Unquote.

In this last phrase Barnes states that Eternal life depends upon, “the existence and exercise of faith.” In a way I agree with him, for we must, as believers, first believe that “God is”, but we must look at who is going to be eternal, this is where I disagree with this statement.

Eternity and being immortal, is a destiny of all manner of men, and not just the Saved. Men have always looked for a way to become immortal, they shall receive immortality but not in this life.

In Isaiah 66:24, we see the proof of this; “And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men(Body’s) that have transgressed(Sinned) against me(God): for their worm(Soul) shall not die(but be Immortal), neither shall their fire(Punishment, rewards for their mortal actions.) be quenched(Set aside); and they shall be an abhorring(Revulsion) unto all flesh.(Those that are alive)”

In the King James version we see; Now faith is the substance (”that which stands under.” In a general sense, being; something existing by itself; that which really is or exists; equally applicable to matter or spirit. Thus the soul of man is called an immaterial substance, a cogitative substance, a substance endued with thought.)of things hoped for(This covers many of our wants and desires.), the evidence (conviction, Greek word denotes “putting to the test,” examining for the purpose of proof, bringing to conviction.)of things not seen. The confidence of faith is based, not on “works of righteousness which we have done”

Our confidence in God is based on our ability to believe God and His word. Our substance is supplied by God, 1. According to our level of faith. and 2. By our ability to hold fast our profession of Faith. The phrase,” faith is the substance”, declares that our physical needs that are, supplied by God, in a manner and timing of His choice and not ours, are the things that we can see. The substance of things hoped for, is any or all the needs of the physical flesh, which includes, food, clothing, healing and instruction.

We initially began our Faith with believing that there was a God. Heb 11:6 But without faith(Belief; the assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, resting on his authority and veracity, without other evidence; the judgment that what another states or testifies is the truth. The assent(To admit as true; to agree, yield or concede, or rather to express an agreement of the mind to what is alleged, or proposed.

To the mind as to the truth.) it is impossible to please him(God): for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. As you see faith begins in the mind and not of the other senses. This is the reason that Satan and the other spirits of anti-Christ, desires to control the mind of man. If we loose control of our thoughts, then we start loosing control of our faith.

Its like the story of the old woman, that asked God to remove a mountain from her back yard, so she could see the valley on the other side. She prayed and went to sleep, the next morning she proclaimed, “Just as I thought, Its still there.”

She declared that, the night before she didn’t believe in her prayer to be answered, her faith wasn’t what it should have been.
Then faith grew to believing that Jesus was the Son of God. Our very existence as a Christian is based on Faith.

In Matthew 6:25, we see Jesus trying to explain what our faith should be based upon. “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” Jesus stated very clearly; “Take no thought”( Be not burdened by)

1. “your life.” (We have no control over our life as far as the state of the physical body, for many things that happen to us are common. We neither have control over our death.)

2.”eat.” Our daily food is provided by the Lord without respect to persons. Being Believers in Him.

3. “drink” This is the same as food, God knows that these body’s can’t survive, so He provides us with water.

4. “what ye shall put on.” Clothing is also provided by God to cover our nakedness.

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God (Salvation of the soul must be our priority before anything that this life offers. Our needs are met by Gods riches in Heaven and not by our works.), and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. According (Here the whole preceding parts of the sentence are to accord, i.e. agree with, correspond with, or be suitable to, what follows. According, here, has its true participial sense, agreeing, and is always followed by to.

It is never a preposition.)
We cannot put our trust in man, for man will always let you down. He has no way of answering prayer, his money is corrupt and his intentions are in question.

In Phi 2:21 we see this, “For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.” Who has separated himself from the Mercies of God, who has turned aside the promises of God and has turned to seek help from his neighbor, who has denied his faith and turned to the things of this world, who stands with God?

“If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.”
We must act, According to Knowledge, According to Truth, and According to Faith.

In a scene reminiscent of the movie Body Snatchers, business professionals across America are being infiltrated one by one. Seemingly normal men and women are suddenly living double lives, leading dual careers. By day they serve as lawyers, restaurant owners, web designers, retail managers, and financial advisors; by night they peddle the wares of various network-marketing companies.

They walk among us, standing ready to present their exciting business opportunity to anybody who will listen. They could be your neighbor, your banker, your lawyer, or even your brother. There is no way to tell them apart, no way to see them coming. They could be watching you right now, presentation binder secretly stashed in their briefcase, eager to tell you about all of the money you could be making.

That’s right; the pyramid schemers are everywhere you look. Unknowingly, these business professionals have fallen victim to the sweet sound of the Sirens, the promise of making a quick buck, leading a more balanced life, spending more time with the family, and making more money than you know what to do with.

How can something so illogical attract even the most professional business men and women? While it may be too late for those who have already set sail on the jarring life of up-streams and down-streams, the rest of us stand to learn a valuable lesson.

That lesson is this: there is no way to make a quick buck. In fact, there’s no way to make money. The only people who make money are those who work at the mint. The rest of us have to earn it.

Earning money means providing something that the community wants or needs. It means gaining the understanding, trust and support of the community at large. What the network marketing drones don’t know is that you cannot be successful working dual careers.

You cannot earn a person’s trust as a lawyer and then turn around and tell the same person you also sell sports drinks on a wholesale website. You cannot be a credible financial planner one minute and in the next offer an opportunity to make money selling satellite television service. Trying to work your networking marketing business in addition to your real job will confuse everybody and kill your credibility as a business professional.

Those who are drawn into the network marketing lifestyle seek something they currently do not have in their “real” jobs. Instead of producing the leadership, motivation and attitude necessary for success, they flock to recruiters who will provide it for them. They passively coast through their regular jobs until a recruiter shakes them up, and suddenly they are awakened with the vigor of a fresh college graduate.

Make the decision to provide yourself with the things you need. Surround yourself with people who are positive, motivational, and uplifting, but most importantly, be your own source of these great qualities. Without this internal foundation and confidence, you will try desperate ways to make a quick buck.

When your mind is in the right place, the right actions will follow. You’ll be able to serve the community in such a way that you will earn the money you have always wanted.

The real business opportunity is the one that you’ve been neglecting while you sit at your desk daydreaming about the easy life. Instead of pouring your time and energy into something downright silly, invest your time and energy into becoming the best at what it is you love to do. Go after your dream with a passion that is frightening to those who lack the drive you feel. Make the decision to do what you love and love what you do. Make the choice to become what you have always wanted to become - a success.

Find what you love, and the money will find you.
