It’s often said that content is King. The more updated new content you have, the more visitors and search engines will visit your website. But there’s another aspect in article writing that should be the Queen. Keywords! Keyword article writing is when you make sure to have common/certain keywords in your articles. The article has a better chance of being picked up by major search engines. The more hits your website gets, the higher on the search engines rankings it will be. If you’re selling something on your website this could help boost sales because your website is found quicker. If you aren’t a writer but have a website, consider hiring a writer to help write keyword articles.

Computer Aided Design is used at various stages in the apparel and textile industry. The fashion design CAD/CAM software can be broadly classified into following categories, each relating to a different design and manufacturing stage.

Categories and manufacturing stages are:

Designing/ Range Planning – before the start of any fashion season, all apparel manufacturers plan the range of garments which they are setting up to manufacture. Most of the designing and range planning is still done by the buyer or the owners of the brand because they are closest to their actual clients; it is easier for them to understand the specific needs of their target market. To some extent, this has now changed with more and more manufacturers allowing vendors to dabble a bit in designing, based on their specific inputs in terms of colors, yarns, fabrics, prints, silhouettes etc.

Prototyping/ Sampling – once the designs have been finalized, a prototype or sample has to be made, because the scalability of the end product (garment) very much depends on the fit of the garment.

In a study conducted by an independent research agency, which monitored and observed the reasons of dissatisfaction or returns of garments sold - fitting problems topped the dissatisfaction list.

Considering the importance of a good fit, it becomes imperative for a manufacturer or retailer to achieve the best fits possible. Considering the complexity involved with different fabrics and silhouettes, a CAD system takes away much of the pain from prototyping thus decreasing the time to market.

Mass Production – comes with its own challenges. Unlike most other products, apparel manufacturing, even today very much depends on people – especially when it comes to tailoring or assembling. A mistake anywhere down the line in the prototyping or cutting process becomes very difficult and often impossible to rectify. This is where a CAD system comes in, to deskill some of the processes involved in mass manufacturing, namely the pre–production processes so that perfectly cut parts are fed to the operators. Additionally, the fabric saved in bulk cutting while using a CAD system is enormous.

Retailing – A 3D solution allows 3D files to be uploaded on to website for clients to choose from. 3D files can be opened and viewed in any MS office application or Internet explorer.

In case you haven’t noticed, the high-end video cards are expensive with every release, and the same high-end video cards disappear from their pole position within 6 months or less due to another model replacing it. There are video card owners who feel betrayed after spending $700 on a graphics card, only to discover several months later the card can be purchased for half the amount. Are these consumers justified in being confused and at a loss for why their video card is outdated before their next birthday?

The New Marketing Of Video Cards

Video card manufacturers began to discover the Relentless Pursuit Of Speed as they competed with each other. At the time, 3dfx, nVidia, and ATI were the top competitors. They also realized consumers were not satisified with overclocking their motherboards and memory alone, and were now diving into another area which could be tweaked, modified, manipulated, and OC’ed to levels higher than what was recommended by the manufacturer: Video Cards! When the video card became a brand new area to tweak and boost, the race was on for the fastest, most powerful card ever.

Not so long after, came several different video card versions of the same graphics chip, each offering a slightly different modified model, at a slightly different price. For example, 3dfx came out with the Voodoo3. There was the Voodoo3 2000, Voodoo3 3000, and the Voodoo3 3500. Instead of the consumer spending time overclocking the card, there were now many different models offered for that particular need. In other words, the more you paid for the card, the more the performance. This seemed like a great deal initially. Why bother tweaking a card and voiding the warranty when you could spend a few bucks more for an “officially overclocked” card and retain the warranty.

Quicker Release Periods

As more models began to flood the market, we started to see the time periods between releases shorten. This is where the initial investment in the high-end cards began to take a severe dive and depreciate. High-end cards were being introduced every 6 months (and currently, they still are). Currently, we also have several “upgraded” cards. Adding more memory to a video card (which didn’t they do it initially?), or adding other rendering features which will be in upcoming hyped games.

The Firmware Factor

Eventually, due to so many video graphics cards being named so close together, it was inevitable savvy users would begin to investigate just what the difference was between them. For example, the GeForce 5900. 5900 users found out if you tweaked it a little, you’d get a 5950 comparable model. And just as I’m writing this article, I picked up a XFX 6800 XTreme 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 which will be $95 after rebate. Apparently, this card can be overclocked successfully to 425-470MHz / 1150-1200MHz with basic air-cooled devices.

Why So Many Video Cards?

Well, this is a controversial question. The answer could be technology is changing and improving so fast it is simply impossible to market a video card which will last a significant amount of time with no competitor and without a price dive. Another answer could be manufacturers are purposely “pumping the brakes” on the manufacturing so that different cards are released relatively quickly, keeping prices high for short period of time, allowing for more purchases of top-performing video cards within a business fiscal year.

It’s somewhat vague as to what the motives really are, but what we do know about the video card manufacturing business, regardless of the motives, is that it’s ever-changing. nVidia and ATI are alone in the competition and each company wants to be the first one to come out with 1GB of on-board memory, and soon after, 1256MB of on-board memory. While we do have those high-end consumers who purchase the top-performing video cards who lose most of their investment only months later, we also have a larger segment of the graphics card consumer market who purchase the cards when the prices fall and rebates are offered. Observant PC users, which in my opinion are growing every time new and faster card is introduced, are beginning to notice the sudden price drops of high-end cards, and are waiting for the prices to fall before they make their purchase.

More Video Cards: More Consumer Options

While the high-end purchaser certainly takes the highest risk and is on the frontline whenever a new product is released, a larger population of consumers are taking less risks by purchasing video cards which are a few notches below the higher-performing cards. Surprisingly however, the performance hit is not as bad as one might think.

Conclusion

If you want to buy the latest, fastest card available, feel free to do so. I’m sure you’ll have an exciting time with it. However, remember the probability that most of your PC games you currently own, probably won’t even benefit from the latest card’s technology. It’s just too new. This is the single issue which video card users and potential buyers need to understand. Video cards are still being released ahead of the advanced applications that support it. Manufacturers and game engineers try to coincide the releases, but this usually happens for only a few games. Is buying a $700 video card worth playing your $50 PC game at all your “levels” maximized, when you’ll probably finish the game in less than 3 weeks? Second, is buying a $700 video card worth it when in 6 months you’ll have updated specs on the card as well as updated specs on the new games which are going to be…once again…released at about the same time as the fastest and greatest card?

It’s something to think about. But is there an alternative?

Sure there is!

Because of the massive marketing of so many “new and improved” video cards hitting the retail shelves almost every other month, YOU have the power. Want a 6800XT? Just sit back for 6 months or even less and get it at half the price–maybe even less. Want that BFG GeForce 7900 GTX? Well, sit back and wait until around October of this year. The key to getting a great video card at a great price, is constantly buying the last generation. Several years ago you really couldn’t do that because the cards were not as advanced. Yes, this is open for debate, but I think today’s video cards are built better, built more reliable, and will be able to take on many new applications and games in the future without needing to upgrade every 6 months. We’re currently seeing video cards increase in performance much faster than what the applications can even take advantage of. This can only benefit YOU as the consumer because buying an older generation video card can actually mean an upgrade for many years of enjoyment.

You’ve heard about and, you know it’s bad. We hear alarming statistics like “over 90% of personal computers are already compromised by spyware” and “spyware and other potentially unwanted programs are rapidly becoming the number one threat to business systems”. But just what is it?

According to McAfee Inc., the leader in spyware protection solutions:

Spyware is any software whose function includes the transmission of company or personal information to a third party without their knowledge. The consequences of undetected spyware and other potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) could include identity theft, system and network corruption, slower Internet access, reduced system productivity, and an increased number of pop-up ads.

To put it another way, spyware on your computer can send out to another computer, and ultimately another person, anything and everything on your computer and everything you do on your computer.

A better but much longer (and my personal favorite) definition of spyware comes from geekpatroloncall.com. They define spyware as:

Spyware is potentially more dangerous beast than Adware because it can record your keystrokes, history, passwords, and other confidential and private information. Spyware is often sold as a spouse monitor, child monitor, a surveillance tool or simply as a tool to spy on users to gain unauthorized access. Spyware is also known as: snoopware, PC surveillance, key logger, system recorders, Parental control software, PC recorder, Detective software and Internet monitoring software.

Spyware covertly gathers user information and activity without the user’s knowledge. Spy software can record your keystrokes as you type them, passwords, credit card numbers, sensitive information, where you surf, chat logs, and can even take random screenshots of your activity. Basically whatever you do on the computer is completely viewable by the spy. You do not have to be connected to the Internet to be spied upon.
However you define it, spyware is plain old bad.

Here are a few tips to help protect you from spyware:

1. Buy a good, comprehensive software program that protects your computer. I use McAfee Internet Security Suite and XoftSpy, which is a malware scanner. These products can stop spyware. If it’s already on your computer, they find it and delete it for good (http://www.delete4good.com)

2. There is no such thing as a free lunch. When you download freeware or shareware, chances are that you are downloading spyware with it. Therefore, only download software from sources that you can absolutely trust.

3. Certain “types” of websites are notorious for injecting your computer with spyware. Those “types” of websites include: peer-to-peer sites, free games websites, and pornographic sites. If you frequent these type of website, make sure your computer is protected (see number 1 above).

4. Make sure that your web-browser security settings are configured correctly. This can prevent spyware or other malicious software from automatically downloading on your computer.

5. Never, never, never click on pop-up ads. I know that some pop-up are irresistible. But they are irresistible for a reason. Pop-ups are meant to get your attention. But if in the pursuit of your attention, they get you to click on them, you may get more than you bargain for.

If you happen to see a pop-up that is advertising something that you just have to have more information on, just take note of the item it’s advertising and do a keyword search on it. But never click on the actual ad.

Spyware protection has turned into a multibillion-dollar business. But, even the best spyware protection is useless if you don’t take necessary precautions. Reducing your risk to being exposed to spyware better than anything. Doing just a little bit of research and taking a few precautions can greatly reduce your risk of being exposed to not only spyware but also adware, viruses, trojans and other so called malware.

Lost & Found for the 21st Century

In today’s hectic world more and more people are turning to those handy gadgets and mobile products that can be taken with them anywhere they go. The more things consumers own, the more they’re prone to lose them. This in mind we actually went out and tested a new service on the UK market from Want it Bak. Lets see what Londoners are really made of.

We left a Palm m130 PDA on the Jubilee Line of the London Underground, a Sony Ericcson Mobile on the number 15 bus route, a Blackberry “email on the move” gizmo down in a local pub in South West London and a rucksack sitting in Starbucks Chancery Lane area. Lastly we left a digital camera sitting out in the open in Hyde park. Not the easiest thing leaving items lying about in this highly security conscious world we live in these days.

Here in the 21st century our lives have become more and more reliant on mobile items. As we go through our days, keeping a mental log of everything we have and where we have it becomes more and more difficult. It is inevitable that some things get lost. In fact as stated in a recent research “Around 62,000 mobile phones were left in London taxis during the last six months. That’s an average three phones per taxi, according to a survey of licensed London cabbies by the Taxi Newspaper and Pointsec Mobile Technologies. Absent minded and drunken travellers also forgot 4,000 laptops and 5,000 PDA’s when exiting cabs”.

So what can we do to have give us some reassurance that we have at least a chance of getting our valuable or even sentimental items back.

In steps lost and found for the 21st century in the form of Want it Bak. The service is based around the belief that most people are actually honest and will do the right thing if a method is offered to them. This feel good factor is enhanced by the added incentive of a reward for doing the right thing.

Anything you can imagine, mobile phones, keys, cameras, PDA’s, laptops, binoculars, backpacks, passports, briefcases, wallets and purses, golf clubs, power tools, textbooks, credit cards, cheque books… you get the picture, it can all be protected using their simple system.

How does Want it Bak work? Simple. You purchase a range of security tags each with their own unique id number. You register them with Want it Bak and that’s it. If you ever lose the item and someone finds it they contact Want it Bak directly using their website or their 0800 number and they arrange a courier to pick it up and return it to the owner for a small admin charge.

One of the best things about this service is the confidential nature of it. The “Finder” never knows who the owner is and vice versa. Reassuring for owners of expensive items, they can now safely retrieve their possessions.

“It’s a great incentive for people to do the right thing”, says Chris Cameron from Want it Bak, “Our research shows that most people are actually honest and the biggest barrier they have to returning items is the hassle of finding out who it belongs to, arranging delivery or pick up, getting the time to drop the item off at the local police station. Now they don’t have to do anything except ring us or visit our website, and they get a Reward for their troubles”.

The “Finders” themselves are offered a basic reward of £10 gift pack of Want it Bak Labels. Additionally the finders may also receive gift vouchers, shop discounts, trial packs and much more. Customers may also offer an optional CASH reward to Finders as a thank you to the person for taking the time to contact Want it Bak.

Want it Bak organises Couriers to pick up and delivery directly to you your lost item. As a customer of Want it Bak you are only charged if an item is lost. No ongoing monthly subscriptions or fees. Just a basic Administration charge when an item is found of £25 which includes next day courier delivery UK wide. A small price to pay for the return of your personal items.

“This service is invaluable” say Russell Lewis of Chelsea, an actual benefactor having signed up from the start. “A few weeks back while travelling home in a Black Cab I left my portfolio containing vital customer information and demonstration CD-ROMs. It would of taken me weeks, if ever at all, to redo everything. Before the end of the day Want it Bak had taken a call and I had arranged for it to be sent straight back to me. This is an amazing service, it was all so easy.”

So how did we go with our test?
Well Want it Bak claim an 80% return rate, which works out to about 5 out of 6 items. It seems Londoners are more honest that we thought. The camera was found by someone in Hyde Park and within the hour Want it Bak had taken the call and arranged return. When originally registering this item we had offered £50 cash reward to the finder.

The “finder” Sam, an office worker was very impressed “I was out walking at lunch time and came across the camera just sitting there. Having personally lost my camera while holidaying in Greece earlier in the year I knew how annoyed the owner would be. The Want it Bak labels were visible enough and probably prompted me more to the right thing than if they hadn’t been there. The whole process only took me a couple of minutes when I got back to the office. Want it Bak arranged a time for the courier to come and they picked it up from me at work. Few days later my reward and £50 cheque turned up in the mail. Fantastic.”

The PDA & Blackberry were also found by good Samaritans and returned. In fact the only thing still outstanding was the rucksack left in a Starbucks, strangely enough the least expensive of the 5 items. No doubt the cause of a police call out during these troubled times. The mobile phone turned up a couple of days later. No bad 4 out 5. Well done London.

Like most things these days there are no guarantees of course, but just the knowledge that for a small price you can have an additional type of insurance that works when you need it to.

Technology has two faces: the creator, and the destroyer.

Recently, I came across an article on the latest cell phone model complete with upgraded services…another technological breakthrough.

Technology never ceases to amaze me. It has made lives, including mine, a lot easier with the introduction of push buttons. Even fashion is woven into technology.

Who can resist it? I am even fascinated with one of its products, the Internet.

Centuries ago, who would have thought humans could fly or talk with a person miles away? What power; what prowess!

But technology’s benefits are nullified by its Pandoran gifts.

Weapons like guns and nuclear bombs, created to protect and defend, can bring annihilation if they fall into the wrong hands.

Look at automated machines, which are threatening workers’ employment. Machines are taking the place of many laborers.

Technology gives us the perception of a bright future for mankind. But it also brings about destruction.

Technology can save lives and enhance our way of living. It is an expression of human intelligence, thirst for advancement and restlessness.

Technology is only good or evil once defined by the hands that hold its reins. It entails, therefore, a great sense of responsibility.

Please be aware of this, as I have had these calls from the switch board – if you receive one hang up IMMEDITELY!

Phone Fraud – Warning from the Police 11 May 2005 we have been advised of a telephone fraud currently in operation, this applies to home and work telephone, landlines and mobile phones. If you receive one of these calls, upon answering the telephone you will hear a recorded message congratulating you on winning and all expenses trips to an exotic location. You will then be asked to press 9 to hear further details. If you press 9 you will be connected to a premium rate line that cost approximately £20 per minute. Even if you disconnect immediately, it will remain connected for a minimum of 5 minutes costing around £100. The final part of the call involves you being asked to key in the postcode and house number, which has other serous consequences. After a further 2 minutes you will receive a message informing you that you are not one of the lucky winners. The total bill by then will be £100. Since the calls are originated from outside the UK, BT and other telephone companies are left relatively powerless to act. The only save solution is to HANG UP before the message prompt you to dial 9. Even safer HANG UP on any unsolicited “free offers calls”. There is another scam operating on mobile phones as well. A missed call comes up. The number is 0709 020 3840, the latest four number may vary, but certainly the first for will remain the same. If you call this number back you will be charged £50 per minute.

People have complained about their phone bills, once they have realised the cost of the call, but apparently this is completely legal. So beware, do not call back numbers beginning with 0709.

Do any of the following remarks sound familiar?

* Excuse me, what did you say?
* Would you mind repeating that?
* I’m sorry but I didn’t catch what you just said.

Whether you’ve heard these remarks from others, or you, yourself have said them, it’s symptomatic of the fact that listening is generally low on the list of our priorities. Who’s got the time, anyway? That’s precisely the problem; each of us is busy and will be getting busier, but learning the art of listening is in fact a time-saver!

Let’s consider the following scenario:

You attend a meeting at work where you don’t really listen because you have other projects on your mind. You feel you can’t really spare the time to even be at this meeting. At the conclusion of the meeting, your boss asks you to follow-up on an item discussed at the meeting. You realize you were not listening that closely, and now have to go back and take the time to check with someone else to get the information you need. Have you saved time? No. Not only have you not saved time, but you’ve now created yet another task for yourself that will further eat away at your time.

How about when someone stops in to see you unexpectedly and you “pretend” to listen, or you’re on a phone call and are multitasking? The list goes on and on and inevitably you find you fall into the habit of not fully listening to someone. Clearly, we’re all “guilty” of this habit now and then. The point is that ensuring excellent communication revolves around how one listens.

Easy tips to change your listening behaviors:

1. When someone stops in to see you or calls you unexpectedly, they should ask if this is a good time for you. If they don’t, then it’s in your best interest to assess if you truly have the time or not. You can say: “I’m glad you called (or stopped by), but I’m right in the middle of a task. Is it possible for me to call you (or stop by) later today?

2. When you arrange to meet with someone or have a scheduled call, determine an estimate of how much time you or he/she needs, and carve that time into your schedule. This ensures that the appropriate amount of time is earmarked and allows you to concentrate.

3. When you’re meeting or calling someone, make a point of eliminating distractions. These include incoming e-mails, faxes, phone calls (including cell phones), interruptions from other people, and papers stacked in your in-box. Barring emergencies, if we want to be fully present when listening to others, we want to make our physical environment free of distractions, even if it means meeting somewhere other than your office.

4. If you’ve followed tip #3, it makes it easier to avoid multi-tasking. While it’s certainly tempting to get several items on your “to-do” list accomplished simultaneously, it will absolutely undermine your ability to listen.

5. Often when listening to others, we’re prone to interrupting because we don’t want to forget something or we have a profound thought to share. This is where taking notes is beneficial. As we jot down a key word or idea, it frees us up to listen more attentively.

6. Critical to improving how one listens is the ability to ask questions. As we process information we hear, there are some points that will need clarification or examples. An effective listener will communicate this to the speaker to ensure they fully understand what’s been said.

The greatest compliment we can pay to another person is to truly listen to them. Think about how this impacts you when you speak to others. So, whether you’re an employer, employee, self-employed or pursuing employment, leveraging your listening skills is more than hearsay. Have you been listening?

I was talking to a woman today who told me she’d decided to
break up with her boyfriend and was going to call him right away
and tell him.

My advice - - I wouldn’t make any decision or do anything from
now until after Christmas, because of the emotional energy.

We’re all either:

–frazzled or numb;

–frantically busy or have given up and are sitting and staring;

–overjoyed or overgrieved;

–eating everything in sight, or refusing to eat anything in a
desperate attempt to stem the tide;

–being Father Christmas, or Scrooge;

–hemorrhaging money or have put a tourniquet on it and won’t
spend a cent;

–working overtime (churches, therapists, physicians, jewelers
and retailers, airport personnel, florists) or have nothing to
do (most attorneys, dentists, weight loss clinics, car dealers,
and those who do elective surgery);

–sick, or taking care of someone who’s sick;

–feel like you have “too many” people in your life, or like
you’re “totally alone”

In other words, it’s the rare person who’s coasting along and
“stable”. The majority of us are a bit strung out and it’s no
time to decide whether to marry him or not, or what to do about
your career or your mother-in-law.

As one wise and over-worked young man told me, “I have planned a
Christmas guaranteed to please no one,” when in fact, like most
of us, he was pleasing some people some of the time, including
himself, and … doing the best he can under the circumstances.

We are all doing the best we can under the circumstances, even
when clearly are not.

Most of us in the US are also coping with a rising level of
dissension re: “Christmas” and “the holidays” that makes
whatever this season is to you far from the “peace and joy” it’s
supposed to be, which is sad.

And, it’s that time of year when you long for home, even when
you’re home … if you know what I mean. Just a very emotional
time - - whether you’re dealing with it by expressing it or
stuffing it down and trying to ignore it (in which case you’re
likely to get a big backlash!)

So, please take a moment to enjoy this wonderful card from

The music playing is Tchaikovsky’s beautiful Dance of the
Merlitons (penny whistles) from “The Nutcracker Suite” which
many of us have enjoyed or will, as part of the Christmas
season, and we’ve been studying this in Club Vivo Per Lei.

If you live for music, join our Club Vivo Per Lei / I Live for
Music! (http://www.susandunn.cc/vivoperlei.htm ) Music can be
wonderfully therapeutic with many proven health benefits. It
goes straight to the pleasure center, and for many people is the
truest form of joy and relaxation.

It’s equally important to guard your health. Please bolster your
immune system against the ravages of December, January and
February, which brings flu, viruses, bacterial infections such
as pneumonia, and SAD - - seasonal affective disorder and
depression. We eat wrong, do too much, stress out, try and fend
off allergies, don’t get enough sunlight, forget to exercise and
miss our outdoor sports (in the northern hemisphere), and are
around other people and their germs!

(Did you know that the telephone in your office, or your desk or
anyone else’s, has more germs per sq. inch than the toilet in
the office restroom??) (cite: Clorox study)

Products such as Arbonne’s DefenseBuilder and Get Well Soon
Dietary Supplement, scientifically proven to nutritionally
support your immune system, are essential. Particularly
important if you’re vulnerable - old, young, chronically ill,
depressed, stressed, or around sick people.

Your immune system is your FIRST line of defense against
bacteria, and your ONLY line of defense against viruses, like
flu and bird flu. Ask your doctor.

Get your rest, tired angel, and where others are concerned, step
lightly!

A large number of mobile phone users prefer to use Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola handsets and would go to any lengths to own the latest models of these mobile phones. Each of these models has certain key features that make them popular among mobile phone users, across different parts of the world. As a consequence, the mobile phone ring tones as well as mobile games that are compatible with these models of handsets are also gaining ground as the more popular types of mobile content! Motorola ring tones, Sony Ericsson ring tones, Nokia ring tones, Motorola polyphonic ring tones, Motorola mp3 ring tones, Nokia 6600 ring tone games, etc. have become common names and are being widely used by mobile phone owners from Australia, the UK as well as other parts of Europe.

The special features of the different models of mobiles from these companies are being understood and distinct mobile phone ring tones are being designed that would run well on these models. A large number of online content providers are catering to this enhanced demand for Nokia ring tones, Sony Ericsson ring tones and Motorola ring tones. They are offering a large number of options to a typical mobile phone user, wherein he or she can make a specific choice depending on his or her tastes and preferences. For instance, a person may like hip-hop or rap music or some other person may be interested in heavy metal or rock. There is a specific Nokia ring tone or a Motorola ring tone or for that matter a Sony Ericsson ring tone to cater to these diverse tastes!

Many of these websites offer the newest Motorola ring tones, Nokia ring tones, Sony Ericsson ring tones, etc, at reasonable prices. The list of these ring tones are updated on a regular basis so that users are happy with the mobile phone ring tones that are on offer.
A large number of popular mobile phone brands support customizable mobile phone ring tones. Users need to check whether the mobile phone ring tones, available in the Internet and from online providers of the same, are compatible with the specific models of their handsets.

In the present scenario, the mobile phone ring tones that are available in the Internet are more often than not based on established formats such as the Nokia format or the formats that are used in the Motorola or Sony Ericsson phones. Certain other models of mobile phones are capable of receiving programmable ring tones, but it is not possible to find them easily on the Internet. A simple logic of demand and supply operates behind this easy availability of Nokia ring tones, Motorola mp3 ring tones and Nokia 6600 ring tones. These models of mobiles are more used than others and so the type of mobile content that can be incorporated in these models are also of a much varied kind. To combat such situations, handset manufacturers such as Nokia, have devised specific plans, wherein Nokia ring tones can be converted to the format of other models of mobile phone handsets.

The system of adding a mobile phone ring tone to a specific model of mobile phone is also very easy. For instance, Nokia uses three different systems or formats to transfer mobile phone ring tones to their particular models of mobile phones. These three formats are the RTTTL format, Nokia Binary format and the use of a Nokia composer. Depending on the specific type of format used in a particular model of handset, different methods are used to transfer the mobile phone ring tones to the Nokia handsets. For instance, in the first case, users need to connect their phones to the computer through a data cable or an infrared communication device. Then they can use special RTTTL transfer software to transfer the Nokia ring tones to their handsets.

Some older models of mobile phones from Nokia are using a melody composer program, wherein users can punch a ring tone directly using the keypad of the handset. Such types of Nokia ring tones that use Keypress sequences are available with several online providers of mobile content. Sony Ericsson keypress ring tones, Panasonic key press ring tones, etc, are also available that can be used to enhance the feel of a mobile phone handset to a significant extent.

We can conclude by stating that established brands such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola are doing all that is there in their power to make the sound of Nokia ring tones, Sony Ericsson ring tones and Motorola ring tones reverberate from different handset models for a long time to come.
