Why should I upgrade my computer’s memory?

Upgrading your computer’s memory is probably one of the easiest and cheapest ways of boosting its performance. More memory translates into faster computing. Compare the situation with your own work desk. As your work load increases, so does your paper work. If your desk were to remain the same size despite the increased paper work, it would take you much longer to find a particular document when required. But if you got a bigger desk, it would obviously accommodate more paper. RAM is the place that temporarily stores all the instructions needed by the computer to act. If RAM is too cluttered, it will have to retrieve information from the hard disk drive more often, causing delays in processing each time this happened.

Upgrading RAM is particularly useful for people who run multiple applications at the same time or use memory hogging applications such as graphics, music or games.

When is it the right time to upgrade RAM?

There are several indicators of insufficient memory – the computer working slower than normal, the hard disk drive audibly working ‘hard’, you having to wait long for applications to start. RAM is also known as ‘physical memory’ whereas hard disk memory is called ‘virtual memory’. Access time of physical memory is much lesser than access time for virtual memory. When there is a shortage of physical memory, the computer has to use the virtual memory, and this significantly reduces the speed of the system.

Will I be able to browse the internet faster if I add more RAM?

The speed of Internet browsing is dependent upon numerous factors, RAM being just one among them. Some of these other factors are your connection speed, the amount of traffic on the site you are visiting, and some of the components in your system. Hence, the answer to the above question is, yes, perhaps your Internet browsing will be faster with more RAM, and perhaps not so much, depending on the other factors. However, additional RAM is certainly beneficial if you are working with large files (such as photo, audio or video files) of if you like to alternate between your browser and other applications often.

GSM stands for Global System for Mobile communication. GSM cell phones come with integrated voice mail, high-speed data, fax, paging and Short Messaging Services. Excellent sound quality, International Roaming facility with state of the art call privacy and fraud prevention features, and batteries with increased shelf life have made GSM the fastest growing and most affordable wireless voice technology in the world.

You can use your GSM enabled mobile anywhere. Well, almost anywhere in the world. GSM technology ensures that you can hear your boss screaming as clearly as the living daylights even when he is on the other side of Atlantic. However, to be able to listen to that honeyed cheer upper you need to change your frequency band. GSM cell phones use the multiple spectrum frequency bands under which 1900 MHz caters to North America while 900 MHz and 1800 MHz are used for other locations. A GSM mobile may have a dual band, a tri band or even a quad band.

A dual band GSM functions at both the 900 MHz and the 1800 MHz level and works in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and a small portion of South America. A tri band GSM cell phone catches the 1900 MHz in addition to the other two wavelengths and covers North America instead of South. Similarly, a quad mobile covers the 850 MHz as well as the other 3 and allows you to go global.

A GSM cell phone however is not going to work without a SIM card. In fact, your phone number depends on your SIM. Voicemail, a regular feature of all GSM enabled mobiles, too, is dependent on the SIM, as it is a network operator based service. To make an overseas call from a GSM phone you must first check on the frequencies available and make the necessary adjustments. This may sound inane but actually is a common mistake occurring all the time.

An overseas call from a GSM cell phone is a simple operation provided the correct protocol is maintained. The international access code (+) has to be dialed first, followed by the country code and the ten-digit phone number. The (+) sign takes care of your call without bothering you about the access code of the country you are calling from. If your handset is a Nokia then you have to press the (*) key twice in rapid succession to access the international access code (+). If it is an Ericsson, then you have to press and hold the 0 key until the (+) sign appears. Like wise for Motorola and Samsung. If it is a Bosch then you have to press and hold the (*) key until the (+) sign appears.

GSM cell phones have managed to reduce background noises, disturbances and statics to a minimum level. Cross-connections, too, almost never happens. The facility to handle many calls at the same time translates to a congestion free network in areas of heavy density and high usage. All these at minimum cost. GSM is affordable.

Leather craft is a fascinating hobby and many artists have taken this way beyond carving initials or embossing a logo. Leather craft requires special tools and specific types of leather

Embossing / Stamping / Tooling

An excellent place to shop, learn about leather craft embossing, and gain knowledge on all types of leather craft information is at eLeatherSupply.com you’ll find tools, hardware, leather, kits, and patterns there.

Embossing is art of creating a three-dimensional image onto leather. The only type of leather you want to try this on is vegetable tanned leather, which may be described as “tooling leather”. With leather craft embossing, you do not need extensive training since all that is required are some special tools, embossing plates or wheels, and some basic leather craft knowledge, which can be learned in a class or even on the Internet.

With embossing, pressure is created from underneath the leather item or from on top. For de-bossing, this is when the design is backwards, created from the top side of the leather, which would produce a sunken look on the other side.

The great thing about embossing is that you do not need extensive training or expensive tools to create a remarkable leather craft piece. The most popular method of embossing involves buying an embossing wheel. These wheels do range in size but the one used most often is one-inch wide made of metal. On the metal wheel are various types of designs that protrude, which is what will set the image into the leather.

You can find embossing wheels with every type of design imaginable. There are flowers, animals, scrolling, geometric designs, and so on. These embossing wheels are very inexpensive and easy to find at any craft, hobby, or leather store. Just keep in mind that if you plan to emboss leather on a regular basis, it would be best to buy the better quality wheel.

How To…

This type of leather work involves getting the leather wet so the design of the embossing will dry stiff and stand out more. If you do not have a special embossing wheel, you can use stencils like you would have used in elementary school to trace your initials.

Most hobby stores have a huge selection of stencils to choose from, giving you a good variety. Then, using a hammer made specially for embossing, you would tap out the design in the stencil, producing the embossed design on the other side of the hide.

To give you an idea of what leather craft embossing looks like, if you have ever seen a notary public stamp on an important document such as a marriage license or birth certificate, that raised design is embossed. Keep in mind that the quality of the embossing is dependent on the skill of the person swinging that hammer. The more detailing you see in a piece of embossed leather, the more time and effort it took to achieve it.

Blind-Stamping

This type of stamping is a reference to embossing surfaces that are not colored. On occasion, pigmentation may be added or gold leafing added to enhance the leather craft work.

Stamping

With stamping, a special press is used that looks like a rubber stamp to create the design. Additionally with leather craft stamping, the design is often not three-dimensional but contrasting colors. The results are very nice but do not have the raised effect you get with embossed leather.

Tooling

Tooling is an art form that takes time to learn. This type of leather craft involves hand tools like a chisel and hammer to create intricate designs. Look up our article on “Classes” through the link below for more information on where to find quality training for this amazing style of leather craft.

With the exception of the terminally shy person, we all need to communicate with other people. And cell phones? They’re everywhere now. We can hardly do without them. Not that we can’t do something about our priorities, especially our frequent lack of courtesy.

Noise pollution follows us wherever we go, so we all have tales of great annoyance to report. And we won’t even get into the topic of people who talk on the phone while driving a car or truck in heavy traffic. They so infuriate me, as I try to keep away from them, that I will leave that topic for someone else.

It used to be that people presumably talking to themselves were given a wide berth by passers-by. Nowadays you can walk along, presumably talking to yourself and, depending on where you are, no one makes fun of you. However, along with any new freedom, there are major responsibilities:

1. People generally don’t ridicule the person walking down the street and talking into the air, even when that grey wire snaking out of a jacket pocket is hard to see. On the other hand, irritated bystanders are likely to snarl instead. They may let you know in a number of ways that you are interrupting their only time of peace and quiet.

A typical example of garden-variety rudeness is this. While waiting in line at the post office this weekend, we all had to put up with someone yakking on a cell phone in the post office lobby, where sound is amplified. None of us were interested in his personal business, or his scolding of whoever was on the other end of the line. It may have been a business associate, friend or family member.

However, it sounded as though he wasn’t going to have the person in his social circle very much longer, given the timbre of his rantings. With only a few seconds of thought, the man could have taken himself outdoors, and saved everyone else’s ears, temper, and nerves. He wasn’t there to buy stamps, just to check the contents of his post office box, which probably took him at least 25 minutes longer than it should have done.

2. A cell phone is within the budgetary reach of most working people, most of the time. As wonderful as cell phones are, literally lifesavers many times over, they come at a cost. In the 1980s in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other westernized nations, mobile phones were the privilege of the executive, the doctor, and a few other select professionals. With a few heavyweight exceptions, they could only be used in the car or truck.

Personally, I’m glad that mobile phones are no longer the province of the elite. Each human being is entitled to whatever advances he can earn and that modern miracles can supply. As usual, however, technology has advanced faster than society could formulate the ethics to go along with it. That is, just because we can now use cell phones to talk any time, anywhere, does not mean that we should. Yet, people just jumped on the bandwagon, and now we can’t shut them up. Even when cell phones interfere with critical hospital equipment, selfish, supposedly educated people haul them out of their pockets and handbags anyway. Perhaps they could be prosecuted for causing harm to a patient undergoing a critical procedure.

Sometimes, incoming hospital patients slip a cell phone past Admissions staff, and then sit in or on their beds, yakking away, until busy nurses catch them at it. It used to be that such rude people just picked up one of the room phones to talk for hours, if they were well off and wanted to be inconsiderate. They simply don’t care if the patient behind the curtain in the shared room is recovering from earlier surgery, or is otherwise very ill.

3. Not to be scatological, but a very annoying habit of cell phone users is in public restrooms, especially at work. You can seldom use the restroom without someone being in one of the stalls and answering a call on their cell phone or Blackberry, at the same time they’re answering the call of nature.

Even more annoying is when someone sits in a stall for quite some time, making outgoing calls on the cell phone. Such activity is often followed half an hour later, by a broadcast e-mail to the entire company that begins, “If anyone has seen a Nokia…blah, blah, I left it in the ladies’ restroom at the northwest corner of the building.” A variation is “If anyone has lost a Motorola…, please call 1234 and identify the case and the phone.”

Maybe we can all just shut up once in a while. Talking any time, anywhere, really isn’t OK.

I recently had the pleasure of motorcycle riding instruction
from a friend, Tony, a professional racer. He was an outstanding
instructor and provided some great experience-based insight into
the more intricate details of motorcycle riding. But, the one
thing that stuck in my mind was his comment of “always look
where you’re going.” I had always assumed that this is what I
did, but I found out that there is a big difference between
“watching” and “looking” where you’re going.

If you’re watching where you’re going, then you’re not actually
picking a path, but are instead passively allowing the bike to
go wherever it wants to go. However, if you look where you’re
going along your desired path, then the bike magically follows
right where your eyes aim. It you look at a path along the road,
you will travel that path. If you look at a tree, then you will
hit the tree. Although it seems like common sense, it was
actually quite amazing when it was practiced.

It’s kind of funny how this simple instruction on the
fundamentals of motorcycle riding actually propagated into
life’s little travels as well. You will always go where you
look! If you look ahead at a negative outcome then, indeed, you
will encounter a negative outcome. However, if you look ahead at
the ultimate Vision you desire, then, certainly, you will arrive
safely.

Of course, you must always monitor “the other guy” while riding
your motorcycle down the road. Indeed, someone won’t see you or,
in many cases, won’t care, and simply dart out of nowhere and
run you down. As in life, always be on the lookout for the odd
little obstacles that appear as they will either stop you cold,
or cause you to react and learn from the encounter. Always take
each and every encounter, on your bike, and in life, as a lesson
in becoming a better rider.

In all cases, it is better to actively look than to simply
watch. Never take your eyes off the road, be alert at all times,
ensure that your vehicle is in good shape, and take a break when
you get tired. By looking, acting, and reacting appropriately,
you can ensure your safe travels and a successful arrival at
your destination. — About the Author —

Introducing DeskView
By Trina L.C. Schiller

Quikonnex has just released its newest in RSS creations! Being a Quikonnex publisher, I would like to be the first to introduce it to you. It is called DeskView, and there is nothing else like it on the Internet!

What is DeskView? Well, it is a desktop application that will allow you, the user, to have direct access to The Trii-Zine ( and other RSS feeds) without having to even open a browser. It is a news portal/ mini-browser. (NOT A TOOLBAR) You simply download DeskView and save it to your desktop. Then, when you want to know what’s new news, you click the icon to open it, log in, and presto! you’ve got news! There is absolutely no adware, spyware… just information you subscribe to.

What can it do? Get ready to be wowed!

Save all your personal bookmarks to your favorite feeds and web pages
Send and receive private personal messages with QMTP
Receive instant notification of news updates
Communicate with your publisher (me!)
Learn more about RSS through direct access to Quikonnex forums and the video library
Just to name a few…

Trii-Zine subscribers who have QuikView and download DeskView, will still have access to everything they’ve saved inside their existing QuikView. The two programs work in tandem, and you can access QuikView from within the DeskView application. How’s that for easy?

The DeskView can be minimized to your system tray, and will generate a small pop up alert in the bottom corner of your screen, whever there is updated information to be read, or you have received a new personal message. How’s that for handy?

All Quikonnex publishers will have the ability to provide this awesome tool to their subscribers, not just the Trii-Zine. And, you can subscribe to any Quikonnex publisher’s channel through a single DeskView. All you have to do is click the tab for the channel directory and all Quikonnex publications will be displayed for your choosing.

If for some reason you should decide not to want to continue your Trii-Zine subscription, although we certainly hope that’s never the case, you simply delete the application from your desktop. You have total control! (Which is as it should be in the first place.)

There is no other RSS or blogging system that has what Quikonnex has… DeskView! The folks at Quikonnex a light years ahead of everyone else when it comes to this technology. All others are just dabbling in it. No one else can offer the tools that Quikonnex can, because Quikonnex builds the programs from scratch, they don’t import them from another source. Jim Gray and Carolyn Peltier are innovators in Internet communications (without email). Shoot! If they ever publically trade stock… I’m buying all the shares I can get my hands on!

Bill Gates has even seen the benefits of RSS in communications. Microsoft is planning a new operating system that will integrate RSS. Ol’ Billy never misses a trick. Too bad for him that he doesn’t have Jim and Carolyn on his payroll. However, that’s a good thing for us! Quikonnex membership is free, and you know Billy will ask top dollar for his system.

I’ve looked a a great many RSS/ blogging products and services out there, and none of them can touch what Quikonnex offers. Not a single one!

Tell ya what… Get your Trii-Zine DeskView, and use it; tell me if I am wrong. You can reach me directly through DeskView. Free Download Here

Everyone knows life is always full of unexpected surprises.

Some Good, Some Bad..

But no matter how severe or how simple an emergency, it still
messes up your daily routine. So you have to be prepared to
handle certain emergencies that are just a part of life.

We all get sick, or maybe your children has a mild illness. What
if one day a thunder storm knocks out not only the power but
everything plugged into that source. Are you prepared to deal
with the loss of your computer??

Who Can You Turn To If You Have To Take A Hiatus From Your
Business?

These are just some of the problems that you may face at any time
or any place.

DID YOU BURY YOUR COMPUTER TODAY??

What can you do if your pc crashes ? If it is still fixable then
you can take it to the repair shop or if you have the money
available, you can just buy another one..

But since money doesn’t grow on trees, there are some simple
solutions to deal with a missing computer.

Duh, Use a Friends Computer

Technology is becoming cheaper these days, therefore every where
you turn someone owns a computer these days, so you can always
ask a friend or relative for the use of their computer.

If that is not an option or they just told you No, plain and
simple..

You can always go to the Public Library.

Free, Free, and Free. There, enough said..

You can also check in on some deals to rent a computer for the
time being. In the long run, it can add up, but if you are
debating between the loss of potential sales because you are not
able to process orders, or receive important email, then yes this
will be money well spent.

It doesn’t matter how brilliant or how stupid your online
business plan is, if you don’t have a computer, you have sort of
thrown yourself out of the game before you even had a chance to
pitch.

DO YOU HAVE A BIZ BUDDY??

If you have to handle an emergency out of town or need to be
hospitalized for any reason whatsoever, can someone else handle
your business until you are better?

Maybe Your Spouse Or A Good Friend?

Now since our business seems fairly high tech to everyone else,
your biz buddy would have to someone you would trust with your
email, your passwords, access to your website control panel.

You know those little things

Your Biz Buddy shouldn’t be someone you have exchanged two emails
with and figure that you really know this person.

Some of the best friendships have been those that were formed
online, even relationships.

But especially Business Relationships have really took off
online.

Always have a backup Owner.

Sounds funny but depending on the nature of your business, the
reality is customers and clients can only wait so long.

It is good to have at least someone who may be able to

–Publish An Issue Or Two

—Answer Email

—-Make Changes To Your Website

—Process Orders For You

JUST SOME PLAIN ‘OL BACK UP ADVICE

These emergencies are more common.

Loss of files, and programs in your computer.

While we have to deal with viruses on a daily basis, just a
simple backing up of our files will save you hours of endless
frustration.

Whether you have a cd-rewrite able drive, or a bunch of floppy
disks, online storage or just have everything printed out, how
can you protect your files and business without a back up.

If one of your business plans didn’t work out, what would you do?

Give up, because that was the only plan you had, or just came up
with a back up plan.

See…

The whole point of this is to get you to realize that although
emergencies come up that are unavoidable, you can still prepare
yourself

JUST IN CASE…

This article has an accompanying comic strip that can be viewed
at: http://m6.net/articles/images/supermobile.gif

The world of technology is racing ahead at such an unprecedented
pace that it really is starting to become hard to believe what
we human beings are creating with our minds and hands. A long
time ago we were ecstatic about inventions like the telephone,
stereo, and computer. These devices have added dimensions to our
reality that once was only dreamed of in science-fiction
films-film, another great invention unto itself. Communication,
the sharing of information, and the pleasures of sonic enjoyment
(We sure do love music!) have increased the quality of life for
those who have been privileged to access it, and these days it’s
spreading to countries that once were locked into primitive ways
of existence. Is this story 100% true? Not many stories are, and
I would like to try and see some of the pros and cons of both a
life of pure technology, as well as of a life that is attuned
perfectly with the natural world around us. Everything is not
black and white, and I am hoping that there could be a focus
that integrates both ‘realities’ into one healthy future for our
species.

I was just reading an article in an Information Technology
magazine about the new demand for mobile/cellular phones that
also act as MP3 music players. Hey, I’m still blown away by
phones that act as palm computers which access the Internet
wirelessly! People now want a phone that can switch easily from
communication device to music player. An unbelievable gadget if
you really think about it. They want it to be able to store up
to 1,000 songs, be able to sync up with a computer, and be able
to download music wirelessly from the Internet straight into the
phone. However, at the time being-and I know it won’t
last-there’s been some trouble making this ‘perfect’ phone
become a reality because everyone wants a piece of the monetary
pie that comes with any incredible new invention. Music labels,
wireless carriers, handset makers, and companies like Apple
(iTunes) want control over various aspects of this new venture.
In the end I’m sure everyone in the developed, and many in the
undeveloped world will have these devices. The question that
always seems to remain for me is: Are we focusing our great
collective consciousness on the right things?

I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll have to say it again, ‘We
need to put our energies into an outlook that encompasses both
technology and nature, not to mention spirituality’. If you
watch or read the News (I try not to do it too much) you will
know that a huge number of stories are about problems with the
world. Degradation of the environment, conflict between nations
and cultures…we are not unaware of what’s happening around us.
With the advent of the Internet we now share knowledge like
never before. Fear and suspicion due to ignorance of other
nations and cultures is decreasing rapidly as boundaries are now
crossed freely and easily. I’m just wondering if we might need
to put a little bit more of our technical focus and genius (a
general focus that currently is a tunnel-vision based around
personal gadgetry) into these bigger issues that seem so much
more relevant and important when it comes to reaching a level of
planetary sustainability and happiness that we can feel secure
with. It’s no fun listening to cool songs on your ’super-phone’
if the bus you are riding on is attacked by frustrated people,
is it? How about those awesome UV light rays that burnt your
skin through the window on your way to the beach in your car
that helped deplete the Ozone, as well as your wallet, because
of the effects and costs of oil and other

It’s easy for me to say that we could change our focus, but the
next question that arises is, ‘What do we get the techno-people
to focus on to achieve this more sustainable, happy future? I
think the key is probably taking a more spiritual, altruistic,
community approach to things. Someone I just spoke to on my
lunch break mentioned that if we took all the money that we
spend on guns and bombs and put it into the ‘world society’,
there wouldn’t be many homeless, hungry people in the world. Why
have we become such an aggressive, angry species anyway?

Many of us believe that money is the key to happiness in life.
We build things that we think will make us happy (super-phones),
and we buy those things for the same reason. Society and
marketing tells us that if we own them we will become happy. We
are dedicating our huge brains to this pursuit of
self-gratification, to the detriment of the world and people
around us. By no means am I saying that it’s all bad. The power
of information and communication shared in this new age has
brought about massive changes for the good of the world. But,
how do we take the next necessary step?

It seems like we will have to make it monetarily worthwhile for
the geniuses to take the spiritual path of creating technologies
for the collective as well as for our future generations. How do
we do it? What are some of the paths that we could get them to
put their masterful tunnel-vision focus on when in search of
answers? How do we make it viable and worth their efforts in the
immediate ‘pay-off’ sense? Please send me your ideas in a
comment box at blog.m6.net. I want to tap into your individual
skills and gifts. You’ve already helped make such progress in
the world. I’m interested in what you think about how we can
make our future a better one for everyone in our ‘neighborhood’.

There are several distinct advantages to outsourcing your bookkeeping functions. First and foremost is saving money. Having said that don’t step over dollars to pick up dimes. You get what you pay for and if you don’t pay for quality than you won’t have quality service. However, you can save money by outsourcing because you won’t be paying for employer payroll tax expense (FICA, FUTA and SUTA) workman’s compensation and general liability insurances, vacation time, sick time, health insurance and other benefits a good full time bookkeeper will expect from his/her employer. Just remember, however, that these costs will be built into the consultant’s hourly rate and their fee will reflect these costs. Any bookkeeping consultant who has not taken these costs into consideration is not a bookkeeper you want - if they don’t know enough to include these costs into their fees, then they don’t know enough to be a help to your business. You should expect to pay at least three times what you would pay an experienced full charge bookkeeper.

And just how do you save money by paying three times the amount you would pay an employee? Well, let’s see. There will be no recruiting, interviewing and training costs for start. And if you should find yourself unhappy with the services there will be no additional recruiting, interviewing and training to replace your bookkeeper. Also, you will not have to be concerned about law suits such as sexual harassment, unlawful firing, age discrimination, sexist, etc. Or an increase in your unemployment rates because you laid off an employee that you really wanted to fire but had no lawful cause to do so. So right away we have less time and money spent and potentially less hassle if things don’t go well.

And of course you will not be paying the 7.65% employer’s share of FICA and Medicaid, or SUTA or FUTA expense, or workman’s compensation and general liability insurance premiums. Also any worthy bookkeeper will expect at least two weeks vacation, coverage for sick time, health and dental insurance, a 401k plan where the employer matches employee contributions and even perhaps more benefits.

Most free-lance bookkeepers will have their own offices saving you space within your office. So you will not be buying that extra desk, calculator, computer and computer software. Your bookkeeper will be providing all of that as part of his/her fee. No software updates, computer maintenance, training costs, etc. Of course should you prefer to have your computerized bookkeeping records available to you at your office, a small investment in software installed on your computer makes this possible. Also no office supplies to be paid for. You will be amazed at just how much pens, pencils, and paper can be used by a bookkeeper. Your consultant bookkeeper will either ask you to drop off the work at their office, will pick it up at your office or some may even offer remote bookkeeping service. And by having your bookkeeping done off site, your bookkeeper will be able to work more efficiently and accurately because her/his office will most likely offer less distractions than your busy office. All of this is saving you money.

And the best reason for outsourcing is that you control the amount of money spent on bookkeeping. What I mean by this is that the person you hire to do your bookkeeping will be doing just that - not answering the phone, dealing with drop-bys, chatting to other employees, etc. Also you can start with just a few hours a month and add on when you need to and then adjust downward again should it be necessary. Can you imagine finding an employee to start with only four hours a month, then asking them to put in 20 hours a week for awhile and then back down to four hours a month again. I don’t think you would keep them for very long, but a free lance bookkeeper is able to work around these variables and even more importantly expects to work with flexible schedules.

So have I convinced you yet? If so, then just remember “you will get what you pay for”. Go for top quality because your financial records are the core of your business and without great bookkeeping you cannot expect to succeed no matter what type of business you have. After all don’t you think you are worth it?

Bookkeeping R Us

: 6:24 am: adminMiscellaneous

I’m amazed everyday at the poor quality of design in many items. Have you tried to remove that plastic wrap on a CD or open a blister pack lately? See what I mean? And you have that child-proof medicine bottle. How are you going to get that second muscle relaxer pill?

In spite of the collective opposition to intelligent design, I offer the following for your perusal.

TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ON YOUR DRIVER CONSOLE-Why not run optical fiber from the console to the brake and turn light area? That way when you operate the turn signal you will know when it is burned out. Perhaps someone has thought of this already, I’m not sure.

DRIVER LICENSE- Why do we need that piece of paper sealed in plastic? Why not just give the trooper a thumb print that he or she will run through a computer..and he’ll have all the dirt on you on the computer screen? We ain’t got no privacy anymore, anyhow! Why bug the citizens with extra identification papers?

THAT EXHAUST FAN IN YOUR BATHROOM-For most of you, you don’t have an exhaust fan! Surprise! You have a circulating fan..it draws the smelly air in the center and scoots it out the edges. There’s no pipe running to the top of your house! You sure paid a lot of money to keep the smell! The solution is..a real exhaust fan.

EXHAUST FAN ON THE KITCHEN STOVE- The clowns did the same thing to you are mentioned above. A lot of you are just circulating the smoky air. Solution-a real exhaust fan.

Let’s take a look at the future and speculate on what would be good and what would work for us. Here we go!

HEATING AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS USING THE STERLING ENGINE

You don’t need no rocket scientist to know that the space slightly under the earth is a different temperature than the space above the ground. The sterling engine works on that differential. Maybe one could use this to generate electricity.

SOLAR COLLECTORS THAT USE SENSORS TO KEEP OPTIMUM SUNLIGHT ON SURFACE

The solar panel would be mounted on a rotating platform with electric eyes or the like, attached to a motor that would keep the optimum sunlight on the panel. This would use some of the power generated. However, I’m sure that the effectiveness of solar accumulation would offset the energy use.

DIRIGIBLES

Maybe would could use the dirigible for transport in the future. I’m sure that one could be developed safer than the old ones. Even solar power could be used to some extent in its propulsion. Additionally, I’m sure that short hops would be just as fast as aircraft as long as the government doesn’t get involved too much. With gas $3.00 a gallon, this idea may be more than just a lot of hot air.

MOVE THE DECIMAL OVER ON THE MONEY

That’s right, make the $5.00 bill fifty cents, make the $100, ten dollars. That puts the dough at about the amount it was when I was a kid. And millionaires would really have some money to play with!

I have worked with educated people for many years with undue hours of trauma. It’s high time we get intelligent design by intelligent people. Business..government try it, employ the intelligent. You may just like what you get!
