Whether you choose the simplicity of electric radio controlled cars or the realistic sights and sounds of nitro rc cars, one major decision the newcomer is faced with is just what type of radio controlled vehicle will best meet his needs.

Whatever you choose, think carefully about just how you will be spending your time with your new hobby and balance this against your current level of experience. Here is just a taste of the options open to you.

On-Road vehicles.

On-road cars are undoubtedly the most popular type of radio controlled vehicle. The standard for on-road radio controlled cars is the 1/10 scale model, although 1/8 scale models are also commonly seen. With the recent influx of micro and mini rc cars, there are now also a number of hobby quality on-road cars as small as 1/18 scale.

Both electric and nitro radio controlled cars come in on-road versions, and can be purchased either ready to run or as self-build kits. Built and geared for speed, on-road radio controlled cars should be your choice if you plan to race your cars.

Off-Road vehicles.

If you want to be able to run your radio controlled cars just about anywhere, you’ll definitely need the rugged construction of an off-road vehicle. These sturdy cars and trucks will handle hills, uneven terrain, jumps and even sand. Available in two or four-wheel drive versions, off-road vehicles can be driven in your back yard, a vacant lot or just about anywhere you like.

Like their on-road counterparts, off-road radio controlled cars can be purchased ready to run or as self-build kits and there is a wide range of both electric and nitro cars, as well as trucks, for you to choose from.

Although they are not the fastest cars available, off-road rc cars are durable, rugged and can be run practically anywhere.

Buggies.

These durable little vehicles are powerful enough to handle on and off-road terrains with speeds of up to 60 mph and are becoming increasingly popular. Although buggies can be great fun, for a wide choice of models, you will need to buy your buggy as a self-build nitro kit and this can be a lot to handle for the beginner.

Airplanes.

Radio controlled flyers also feature amongst the most popular and exciting of rc vehicles. Electric and ready-to-run versions are the most accessible for the beginner, though of course there are nitro and self-build kits available to allow for growth and customization.

Radio controlled airplanes are extremely light weight, and can be made to fly at very low speeds. The electric versions are also quiet enough to be run in a school yard, which makes them a great option for the newcomer to the radio controlled scene. If you wish to include competition as a main element of your new hobby though you should be aware that there are many fewer competitions run for rc airplanes than there are for rc cars.

Helicopters.

Though perhaps a little too complicated the beginner, radio controlled helicopters are both exciting and challenging to fly. They are normally run on gas, and can be great fun for the more experienced hobbyist.

Boats and Watercraft.

Available in both electric and nitro powered versions, radio controlled boats are normally only available in kit form and the need for waterproofing adds an additional level of difficulty. As a result, boats and other watercraft are not recommended for beginners but, once you become familiar with the workings of radio controlled vehicles, you will find boats and other watercraft possibly the most fun of all to build and race.

Although it is very much a personal choice, the newcomer would be best advised to start with ready-to-run, on-road electric radio controlled cars and, once he is familiar with the basic art of running and racing rc cars, he can then move up in stages towards his preferred model.

They smell sweet, look great, and have a lot of variety to them, no it’s not your significant other, and it’s the ever popular gel candle. Gel candles are made with 95% mineral oil and 5% polymer resin. Gel candles typically work under a simple rule of thumb, the more thick they are the more scent will come from them, and the longer they will last. These candles are used for aroma therapy as well as for home décor.

Making gel candles is as easy as baking a cake and these will last much longer then your typical sponge cake. Making gel candles is not only for those with a passion for crafts, it also can be enjoyable for those looking to mix, and match new scents. For the serious gel candle makers a potential business opportunity awaits you. Whatever the reason may be, it will be worth your time to learn about how to make gel candles.

The first step in making your gel candle is to pick the scent you would like to put in it. The typical scent for your candles will come from essential oil, or candle scent concentrate. The types of scents are limitless, and are available at any crafts store, online candle making website, or a local specialty store. Once you have chosen the scent you can move on to getting the mold.

Choose the mold that best fits your gel candle making needs. As generic as that statement sounds, it is true, you must pick what will work for you in terms of a mold. A gel candle mold is similar to a cookie cutter, or muffin tray, they are indented, engraved, sheets of metal that can be baked at high temperatures. For advance candle making one can make their own mold. For beginners it’s recommended to choose a simple mold, like that of a jar.

Once the mold has been selected, the scent has been purchased, and you’re ready to get started head on over to the kitchen and preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Add some glue to the bottom of the mold, insert the candle scent concentrate, and pour the gel. Now in order to get the gel to a liquid form, one must first heat the gel in the oven at 200 degrees until the gel turns into a liquid format. Once the gel is liquefied add the wick to the mold, pour the gel, and pull the wick up to the top. Let the candle cool for 4 hours, and enjoy!

Do you want to know how you can save time and get higher
profits, make your product competitive and ensure its sale on
world market? Well ! But first I invite you to analyze together
the situation around the conditions of the problem. The XX
century, the latest period of the history of analytical
chemistry, was specially rich in innovations. A great
significance had the invention of chromatography (M. S. Tswett,
1903) and the subsequent development of its varieties.

The analyses of a great number of substances are based on the
use of chromatographic principles of separation. On this same
principle are based the separation of isotopes and therefore the
creation of atomic weapon and atomic power stations.

Six Nobel prizes were won by Carrer in 1932, Kuhn in 1938,
Ruzicka in 1939, Martin and Synge in 1952, Sanger in 1958 and
1980 - authors, whose achievements depended to a significant
degree on the use of chromatographic analysis.

In the development of chromatography, a process that goes on up
to-day, a definite tendency is traced. After the substantial
theoretical and technological “gush” it follows to provide the
equipment with additional parts allowing the enlargement of the
analytical possibilities of the chromatograph. On this
background it is considered in - time the development of
Chromabarography - a new basic technology of chromatography.

What does it present itself, what does it give to the user and
producer of the equipment? After all, the heart of
chromatography is the chromatographic column. The theory of gas
chromatography, presented by the equation of Van Deemter H = A +
B/u + Cu shows that for each chromatographic separation there
exists an optimal flow rate above and below which the column
efficiency is reduced.

In practice, the linear speed of the sample zone moved by the
carrier gas, is changed continuously and increases as it
approaches the outlet, which results in a non-effective use of a
part of the column.

Yet the linear speed may be kept constant by programming the
movement of the pressure gradient along the column, realizing
the function pressure - location - time and keeping ∆ p
constant at the ends of the chromatographic column during the
whole process of analysis.

For the first time in the world this basic technology was worked
out and proposed by me, based on the investigation of the
factors of diffusion and kinetics, and includes the meaning
“bar-gradient chromatography” or Chromabarography. For its
realization an equipment was invented and defended by a Russia
patent. As a result a maximum possible efficiency (Hayrapetyan’s
Effect) of column is obtained at a minimum length, which at the
same time is optimal as well, as in difference to the ordinary
column further increase in column length increases the analyses
time. However these are not the only advantages of
Chromabarography. On the contrary, new interesting possibilities
of its modifications are opened which foresee: of combined
application of the moving gradients of pressure and temperature
(Chromabarothermography)

or of the moving of pressure gradient along the column
simultaneously with temperature programming affected equally on
all the separation column (Chromabarograph with temperature
programming). Amongst other advantages of scientific value may
be mentioned: The possibility of bar-focusing on each component
to solve complex analytical problems on a singular gas
chromatographic column, in difference to two or multistage
columns.

The realization of the proposed technology and enrichment of any
chromatographic equipment of serial production with
supplementary parts is not linked with great expenses and
difficulties, and service does not require special knowledge.

The percentage of the improved products will be increased.

As similar technologies and equipments do not exist in the whole
world, demands for Chromabarographs will be significantly
increased.

The profit and circulation from the realization of the equipment
will be increased principally on account of selling the product
on international market, and following the first publications
concerning this theme it may be unpredictably much higher.

Having in hand data about the industrial capacities with account
of economy in time and expenses for investigations, and the
principal premises for working out of a new basic technology and
the Chromabarography itself, it is not difficult to count the
real income. The chromatographic apparatus by its functional
purpose may be subdivided into several groups. Devices for
standard analyses Universal chromatographs. Devices for special
significance. The universal chromatographs are the most widely
used types of the chromatographic equipment. According to
information sources, their production makes up more that 90% of
the whole quantity of chromatographic equipments. However,
taking into account that the modern chromatographs of the
leading firms include a large number of modifications, from
which it is practically possible to make up an equipment of any
special purpose, the proposed new basic technology of
chromatography - Chromabarography will be low but not less than
50% of the quantity in demand. The economic effect of the
chromatograph is determined mainly from the viewpoint of
analytical control. By expert’s evaluation the annual effect of
1 equipment varies from thousands to hundred thousands rubles
(dollars), giving a compensation period from several days to
several months for an average price of an equipment. The
commonly useful advantages of Chromabarography are obvious first
of all for scientific investigations in studying the state of
various solid supports and stationary phases for the separation
of multicomponent mixtures with a wide range of boiling points.
The analysis and estimation of conjuncture information and
patent situation provide a basis to confirm that
Chromabarography is a XXI century technology of scientific and
commercial value. Attention! Proposing the modern technology by
switching on the electronic market Internet, I am ready to

You don’t have to fork out $250 for a super-diggy-whizbang mp3 player, do you? There are cheap mp3 players to be had, with a host of features perfectly suitable for everyday use. Here is a small sampling of some of the highest-rated cheap mp3 players. Looking at their features and failings can give you an idea of what can be attained for under $100.

The Apple iPod Shuffle is a relatively cheap mp3 player when compared to similar machines, retailing for around $100. It holds 512MB of data, and has the advantage of Flash Memory. Users like the iPod Shuffle mp3 player because it is extremely lightweight, and has good sound quality. There are drawbacks, however. Most notably, this mp3 player has no LCD screen, and very little control over the songs played. Also, it can only be charged through a USB port, or with a charger that must be purchased separately. Some users also report that the shuffle feature plays the same songs over and over. Another downfall is the lack of a radio tuner. Still, if you want a cheap mp3 player to turn on and just let it go - 12 hours on the average charge - the iPod Shuffle is a strong contender.

Another highly rated cheap mp3 player is the iRiver iFP-180T, which comes with 128MB of Flash Memory. With prices averaging $75, but dipping as low as $39, this is a very cheap machine when compared to similar 128MB mp3 players. Unlike the iPod Shuffle, the iRiver mp3 player does come with an LCD screen and an FM tuner. Users of the iRiver iFP-180T like the sound quality, but opinions vary about the ease of use, saying it is difficult to download songs, or to figure out the controls. Perhaps the chief downfall of this cheap mp3 player is the memory, only 128MB.

Sandisk makes a cheap mp3 player they call Digital Audio Player, or DAP. Models are available with 256MB of Flash Memory, which retail for around $65. The pluses of this cheap mp3 player: a large LCD screen, light weight (1.4 ounces), and a long battery life. The DAP has all the standard features you will find on most cheap mp3 players, including voice recording and the FM tuner. Critics say that the DAP mp3 player has poorer sound quality than similar machines, particularly on the voice recorder, and the controls are not intuitive.

There are many other cheap mp3 players on the market. Full retail prices are always higher than what you can find on the Internet, so shop around. Whichever brand you choose, be sure your cheap mp3 player has the basics: an industry standard 1-year warranty, headphones, USB interface, and file transfer software.

Plants are intelligent forms of life who are capable of
intention, preference, and a will to survive, thrive and
interact. Scientific research indicates that plants communicate
with insects, animals, human beings and other plants in order to
keep themselves alive and safe. Evidence also reveals that
plants are telling us how to achieve health and wholeness for
humanity and the earth herself.

Plants Are Just Like People

In research which spans more than 100 years, scientists have
been documenting botanical adaptability and the amazing
similarities that plants have with animals and people. Studies
indicate that what metaphysicians, psychics, shaman, tribal
people and sensitives worldwide have been saying about the plant
kingdom for millennia is true: plants are intelligent beings who
can communicate with us, and, we can communicate with them.

Smart Strategies for Survival

In the book, “The Secret Life of Plants,” authors Peter Tompkins
and Christopher Bird describe how plants “talk to” people and
what plants “talk” about. Staying alive and safe tops the list.

To protect themselves, plants have developed highly adaptive and
strategic ways for living. According to the authors, “Plants
seem to know which ants will steal their nectar, closing when
these ants are about, opening only when there is enough dew on
their stems to keep the ants from climbing. The more
sophisticated acacia plant actually enlists the protective
services of certain ants which it rewards with nectar in return
for the ants’ protection against other insects and herbivorous
mammals,” thus serving the same function as friends and allies
do in the animal and human realms. Some vegetation develop a
bitter taste, some ooze gummy secretions, while others grow
thorns to defend themselves.

Prickles for the Pussy

Once plants feel safe, however, they may drop their need for
defense. In one study, a scientist wanted to determine if cacti
grow needles primarily for the purpose of keeping themselves
from harm. Safely housed in a greenhouse, the scientist talked
to numerous cacti assuring them that they were protected and
that he cared about them. He encouraged the plants to feel even
more secure by playing soothing music in the greenhouse. Within
several months the cacti dropped all their spikes. The offspring
of these bare cacti were born without needles. Defenseless
within this nurturing environment, the mature and new-born cacti
prospered. After a period of a year of being without their
protective quills, the cacti suddenly began re-growing their
bristles and new baby sprouts were born with needles again.
After some investigation, it was discovered that a house cat had
found its way into the greenhouse. Suspecting that the cat may
be the source of the perceived threat to the cacti causing the
reemergence of their means of protection, the scientist blocked
the cat’s way of entry. Once the cacti sensed they were once
again safe, all of the cacti dropped their prickly means of
defense.

You Can Hurt a Plants Feelings

Plants respond not only to insects and animals but to human
emotion and intention. Plants can distinguish between people who
are feel kindly towards them and people who don’t, and our green
friends cooperate with people they like. In one experiment a new
scientist came to study some test plants. Surprisingly, these
test plants which previously had been very responsive, were
completely non-responsive during the new scientist’s tests.
Investigating the change in the plants’ response, it was
discovered that the new scientist incinerated his plants in his
own personal research once his tests were completed. Shortly
after the new scientist left, the plants again began registering
activity and cooperating.

In another study, scientists found that vegetation reacted
negatively to people who found the plants unattractive, even to
the extent that the plants would “faint.” When over-stimulated
by emotions, plants will “go unconscious” or numb and can stay “
moody” for weeks. Scientific studies show that once plants
attune themselves to a particular person, they are able to
maintain a link with that person, no matter how far away. These
plants register “knowing” not only when a person is returning to
the plants, but when the person makes the decision to return.
Other reports show that plants respond to people talking to them
in a caring, loving manner, such as asking a tree to radically
change its growth direction so that it won’t have to be cut, or
asking weeds not to grow excessively in a vegetable garden.

Who Says Plants Can’t Move?

In order to stay alive, plants have learned to move and do so in
remarkable fashion, for extraordinary purposes and with high,
extra-sensory intelligence. “Plants,” says Viennese biologist,
Raoul France “move their bodies as freely, easily and gracefully
as the most skilled animal or human, and the only reason we don’
t appreciate the fact is that plants do so at a much slower pace
than humans. A climbing plant which needs a prop will creep
toward the nearest support. Should this support be shifted, the
vine, within a few hours, will change its course into a new
direction.” Plants will even grow towards a support that’s
hidden from view. France continues, “Plants are capable of
intent: they can stretch toward, or seek out, what they want in
ways as mysterious as the most fantastic creations of romance.”
As Thomkins and Bird relate, “Some parasitical plants can
recognize the slightest trace of the odor of their victim and
will overcome all obstacles to crawl in its direction.”

The Sophisticated Musical Tastes of Plants

Through their animated responses to classical and heavy rock
music, plants further divulge their preferences. In studies of
plants exposed to heavy rock music, the plants not only grew
away from the music source, but some grew either abnormally tall
and put out excessively small leaves or remained stunted. In
some cases the plants died. When classical music was played to
the plants, the plants grew toward the music source with healthy
growth. The same plants, marigolds, who died when listening to
rock music, flowered when listening to classical music. The
authors report, “the rock-stimulated plants were using much more
water than the classically entertained vegetation, but
apparently enjoying it less, since examination of the roots
revealed that soil root growth was sparse in the rock group,
whereas in the classical group, root growth was thick, tangled
and about four times as long.”

In India, Dr. T. C. Singh, in his studies of music and plants,
stated that he had “proven beyond any shadow of doubt that
harmonic sound waves affect the growth, flowering, fruiting and
seed-yield of plants.” Singh also reported that girls dancing
India’s most ancient dance style accelerated the growth of
daisies, marigolds and petunias. The dancing caused them to
flower much earlier than the control group of plants, presumably
because of the rhythm of the footwork transmitted through the
earth.

Plant Devas Caught on Camera!

Kirlian photography is now able to verify the existence of
living, changing light radiating from plants. And many “seers”
and scientists have seen light emanations and moving forms
coming from plants. Hindu sages refer to devas. Clairvoyants and
other sensitives are able to directly see and communicate with
the fairies, elves, gnomes, sylphs and other creatures which
live in and among plants.

Tompkins and Bird conclude, “Evidence now supports the vision
that plants are living, breathing, communicating creatures,
endowed with personality and the attributes of soul.”

You have a dream! Now, how do you make it happen?

First, imagine that it is real. See every detail so clearly
that you can reach out and touch it. You can feel the
emotions of being there. For example, if you want a certain
car, then what kind is it? What color is it? Imagine you
are sitting in it like you will when it is brand new. How
does it feel? How does it smell? Go for a drive in your
car. If it’s a convertible, drive with the top down!
Experience the wind blowing in your face and through your
hair. Hear the sounds around you. If you can take a real
test drive in one, do that! Get a picture and post it
where you will see it each day. Do this visualization
several times a day until it becomes part of you. This
action is important because your subconscious will help
enable you to reach your goals to achieve your dream.

Next, break the big dream down into specific, measurable
goals to get you there. If you are dreaming of something
that costs a certain amount of money, like the car, you
will set a date on when you want to have this money.

Once you have your date, then break your timeline down
into segments. Perhaps you set the date one year from
today. So the next step is to break that down into
a goal for each month, then a goal for each week, then
a goal for each day. It may be easier to start with
the days, and then multiply out to the weeks and months.

Now that you know what your specific timeline is, you
need to determine the specific actions you can take to
reach each specific goal. If it is a money goal, like in
the example above, you know how much money you need to
put away each day. So now you need to figure out what
actions you need to take each day in order to be able to
do that.

If your goal is accomplishing a project, your timeline
will be broken down into different steps you need to
finish in order to get the whole project done. For
example, if you are writing a book, you may need to do
some research before you can write it. So the first
major accomplishment on your way to that goal is to
complete the research. Then you need to set a time
to complete your basic outline. Then a time to complete
each chapter. Then a time for editing. You can break
each major step down into little steps that must be
done each day in order to complete the entire book by
your target date.

Now that you see what you will need to do each day in
order to achieve your big goal, ask yourself if each
day’s task is reasonable. Be truthful. If you know
you can do what is required each day, then you have
your plan. If it will be very difficult to meet each
day’s requirement, then extend your timeline until
you have something you know you can do every day.
This way, you are setting yourself up for sure success!

It’s just like the ancient philosopher said: “A journey
of a thousand miles begins with one step.” No matter how
big your dream is, if you break it down into baby steps
that you can do each day, you will find your journey to
success filled with the joy of achieving many goals.

Reaching your smaller goals will, indeed, assure you
that you are on your way to reaching your dream! You
will gain the confidence you need to continue and receive
the desire you need to do whatever actions are required
each day!

Celebrate achieving even the little goals, and enjoy
your journey to your certain success!

Spiritual Healing - The Hidden Truth and Misconception

Throughout history, what is portrayed in all religions as being the manifestation of prayer or miracles is in fact manifestation of our connection with the essence of our Soul and the manifestation of the power of spiritual healing. We have heard throughout the centuries about such miracles that have happened to people, and how they changed their lives. This has carried on until now when we still hear of these ‘miracles’ in our time today. What would be the difference between a miracle that has been approved by a religion and one that has been manifested by a healer?

Why is it that at this point of our time and with all of the technological advancement we claim to have achieved as humans, we still approve of one particular or ‘morally acceptable’ form of miraculous healing and disregard another? How does it stand in such a case where a particular healer belongs to a certain religion? Does his or her manifestation become a miracle? Also in certain ways there is no huge difference between the power of healing and the power of prayer if we really think about it. The same intention of sending healing thoughts is there, regardless of how we chose to ‘label’ the procedure.

There are two types of healing, self-healing and spiritual healing. How much do we really understand the difference between the two? Can we refer to them as being a science? Or in such a case where science cannot explain or rationalize the manifestation itself, do we then find it would be easier to disregard it all together rather than investigating? Perhaps it is when something does not bring us much financial profit it then becomes worthless for us to investigate. Well it seems there are many question marks when it comes to the subject of healing and apparently with little answers.

The way I see it in terms of self-healing and spiritual healing, both forms are misrepresented and at the same time abused. On a personal level, on the medical level and on the government level, it seems we are very much unaware of the real benefit that comes from it.
Before going further into this and for some of you who do not know or understand what I am talking about, let us identify and define both forms of healing, from my own point of view of course!

Self-healing is the effect that a person can inflict upon themselves, in terms of a manifestation when bringing his or her state of mind, either physical, or emotional, into perfect harmony and balance with the universal flow of energies to get him or herself into ‘normal’ state of being. We all have this power within ourselves even if we do not believe it is so. This can be practiced through praying or self-inflicted healing.

We know that someone who is a ‘Spiritual Healer’ is someone who is normally referred to as being ‘an instrument’. This is so when souls from a different dimension to our own use the ‘instruments’ body as a channel to perform their work of spiritual healing. These ‘healing’ souls are sometimes called ‘spirit doctors’. They use their wisdom and knowledge from the universal flow of energies to manipulate a human being into a state of perfection. This is successful so long as no-one has been tampered with, in terms of having their body altered when having organs removed or by being operated upon. What is the cost of all of this? Well it’s FREE. So let’s explore all factors involved here.
We will start with the healers themselves.

Who are those healers? A healer is a person that accepts the work of spirit souls or spirit doctors. The healer allows himself or herself to become an instrument for the wonderful work of spirit to be carried out through. To inform you, I personally am one of these healers. In my personal experience in working with healing for many years and being self taught by working with my guides, I do believe the maximum time and what I feel is necessary to provide the energy to someone is no more than 15 minutes. Even this length of time can be too long in certain cases. The reason is because healing usually takes effect according to the person who is receiving the healing them self.

When someone falls into the handwork of a healer, it is not a coincidence it is by choice unconsciously. Manifestation has to be carried out and healing will take place on other levels of our consciousness. It has to be done on a soul level, astral level, and subconscious level before it can ever manifest physically with that person. Those levels that we don’t see and might not be even aware of can be worked out before that person even meets up with his or her healer. Their meeting then becomes a mere formality to allow changes to take effect on the physical level. All work is usually carried out during their sleep state, except for the physical and can be done in case of what is called absent or distant healing. With all of that said, no healing should take place outwith the person’s Free Will of choice.

In our world of today, healing, just like anything else has been abused. Some healers are taking advantage of this gift by misrepresenting the benefits of it. It seems to have become a way of overly charging their patient financially and in some cases providing them with false hopes. When healing becomes a business, how do we know that healing is genuine after all? If the healing gift is used only as a means of survival for the healer where do we draw the line between what is a true healing and what is a mere attempt of making money based upon the needs of the person who has come to receive healing?

This circumstance is unfortunate for both parties involved here. The healers will pay the price for their actions of abusing the healing on a Soul level by creating Karma for themselves which will have to repaid, later on in their evolution. In terms of accepting money for healing, it is alright to accept being given a donation, but only at the patients own discretion.

Working with healing is the purest gift that a human being can achieve in one lifetime in terms of working with any form of Mediumship. I would like to make sure that you understand that it is not the power of the healer that is making the change in any situation it is the work of his or her assisted spirit doctors. So just how convinced are we when we see an advertisement asking us to spend $50 and we will be provided with a healing? Really, how effective is that healing going to be after all? It is the same as the ‘Psychic Hotline’ or having a tarot reading over the phone? I once saw an advertisement in a local newspaper that required some people to work on one of these ‘Psychic lines’ and it did state ‘with or without experience’. Experience does not matter after all because in the end, we are either open to these gifts, or we are not, but how effective are those readings going to be such a case as this?

Healers should not attempt to prescribe or go against any medical challenge. Rather, they should work in conjunction with the medical field in order to bring harmony to the patient. Most often, the medical community will take credit for the cure but that is far out from the truth in many instances. This is because in many cases the doctor has declared that they still cannot comprehend what has happened for their patient to return back to a normal state of health. In my opinion, recognition is sometimes a boost for our ego and personally as a healer, I feel I can do without that ego boost!

I believe the medical community’s main concern with regard to spiritual healing is they fear it as being a threat to their business. As we all know, being a doctor is a serious business and I personally do salute the doctors who perform operations for people who have been involved in accidents, war zones or any other dangerous place. These are miracle doctors in my opinion! Their work is driven by the compassion they feel toward their fellow man or women and they do deserve all the recognition in the world. Many times they are not recognized, but I believe that this is not as important to some as might be to some other doctors. A human soul becomes a mere number in today’s society, regardless if you are rich or poor and are only passing your bill for the government or insurance collection at the end of the day.

Why is the medical community afraid to use some extra assistance to bring in harmony and health to their patients? By all means, if they need the recognition for curing the patient, well they can have the recognition and no harm will be done because I do not believe a true healer cares about being recognized in the first place. Their reward is beyond any recognition and I believe many healers know what I am talking about. There are so many healers who do prefer to work in the background without any recognition and without even being known.

Now what is Governments role in bringing their awareness of healing to a level of understanding? It is in their interest to look into this aspect of healing when all costs are increasing in terms of the Medicare. Different governments have a different understanding of this subject when regular people have little or no understanding about spiritual healing at all! There is no sufficient ‘rational’ explanation of this work, even when attempting to look deeper into the matter. In some cases it is said to be the work of the devil! For God’s sake then we can’t blame our Government for this!

It is a shame when someone in a government office places rules upon spiritual healing when they themselves are not even aware of its functionality. I believe their judgment in many cases is based upon their own personal belief system or according to their religion for example. In some governments restrictions and regulations are applied on healing. However, how can we dictate to a healer and tell him or her not to touch the person receiving the healing. In fact, most healing sessions can even happen in public. Is it classed as being dangerous and sexually abusive when a male healer touches a woman with her clothes on and in the same a male doctor touching woman who is undressed is alright? That is a double standard or am I wrong here?
Why there is no law on the way doctors should practice? I guess there is a contradiction somewhere in these matters! Doctors do have backup from associations and organizations and healers don’t. There’s something to think about!

I do believe it is seen as threat for doctors if healers are used in hospitals. Why? So long as both the doctor and the healer are working for the benefit of the human soul they are trying to cure, there is no harm done. Governments should loosen up on their regulations toward the practice of healers to be fair toward everyone, and yes, there are many advantages for all governments from doing so. What I ask is for us not to be entirely dependent upon healers, but only for us to have an open mind and allow them to be consulted in hospitals. This should be a matter of choice from the patient them self as they have the right to their own Free Will!

Day after day from what we can see happening in the world, and being human souls we seem to have no right to choose for ourselves what we feel is best for us. All decisions seem to be made for us all, regardless if it was by a large corporation, a government, a religious group or just our society as a whole.

So we can see there is a problem on all sides and maybe we need to really evaluate the simple things in life one more time. From what we can see in our society, I think we do we have enough space to make changes.

Joseph Ghabi’s early career began rather ‘technically’ with a
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of
Science in Computer Science. Always intrigued by spiritual
phenomena, Joseph’s spiritual life began rather early in life.

At the age of eight he discovered his clairvoyance. Joseph is
natural medium presently teaching meditation, numerology and
healing.

Christianity: White man’s religion?

Martin Luther King referred to Sunday as being “the most segregated day in America.”

Truer words were never spoken.

A few years ago I was preaching and, Lord, help me, my opening words were, “Look around. What do you see? I see a church full of white people.” The Blacks, Hispanics, Asians and others…. they’d all been there, but we had holes in our net and hadn’t been able to keep ‘em. Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is like a net, catching ALL kinds of fish…” (Matt 13:47) and that includes black ones, brown ones, red, yellow, Protestant and Catholic, young, old, male and female.

As Americans, we often project an imperialistic attitude that the rest of the world detests. Regarding American CHRISTIANS, I’ve often heard and read of third world pastors telling how they only wish they had the money the Americans raised to take their “missionary journeys” so that they could better care for their own families and congregations… purchase bibles and study tools, attend seminary. Can we even imagine a group of half naked primitives coming into our churches to share the latest “revelation” God had given their tribe? Yet we spend a fortune crossing the pond for these “life changing” (whose life?) short-term missions experiences. Don’t get me wrong, I believe in missions, most especially those geared toward helping the sick and the children, but I’ve heard too many stories from missionaries who admitted they felt they made NO difference on their missions trip and from Nationals who could have used a nice healthy love offering instead.

I once taught a Sunday school class to a room fullof mostly Black African pastors, their small frames lost within their too-large, out-of -date suits and ties. Between them, their congregations ranged in the area of 40,000 people. These humble men were taking notes, asking questions, hanging on my every word. I don’t know about them but, for me, THAT was life-changing! God bless those who were wise enough to fly these African pastors to the USA so they could return home and teach those with whom they already had relationship (key word).

Regarding this so-called “white man’s religion,” it’s true that some mistakenly believe Christianity is the religion of Whites in the same way others consider Islam to be the religion of the Blacks. Folks, Hosea 4:6 declares, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” Let us strive to KNOW the truth for the Scripture says, “they shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free,”(Jn 8:32). What you’re about to read, I believe, will be VERY liberating.

THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR ANCESTORY

Black Christianity did not start in America with the slaves that converted to their master’s religion. Genesis 10 shows us where all the races originated. The Black lineage is presented by family, languages, locations and nations. The Bible tells us, in Genesis, that everyone began with Adam and Eve. EVERYONE! Genesis 2:7 tells us Adam was made from the earth. Science has proven that we’re all made from the same materials as are found in the earth. The Hebrew word for Adam is Adahm, meaning “red” or “from red earth.”

Yes, Adam was a person of color!

After the flood, it was Noah and his kids that populated the earth (Acts 17:26; Gen 9:18,19). His sons were named Ham, Shem, and Japheth. These names mean Black, Dusky and Bright, or “fair,” respectively. Biblical historians agree that Ham is the ancestral father of the Black races - the Mongoloids, Egyptians, Ethiopians, the Canaanites, and the Indians. From Shem descended the Jews, Arabs and Persians. From Japheth came the Greeks, Caucasians, Russians, the Indo-Europeans.

One Black son out of three? Well, we don’t know exactly HOW dark the pigment was of the other two but, is that possible? With God, ALL things are possible. Face it, if YOU were the Supreme Creative Being, wouldn’t YOU get creative when making people and animals?

Look around. Look in the mirror… God’s been VERY creative. Medical research tells us it IS possible to have children that are very different in color, especially if one or both parents are dark-complexioned, but it’s impossible for a fair complexioned person to produce a dark-skinned child. So, for Noah to have fathered a “black” son, he or his wife had to have been dark-skinned, too.

Logically speaking.

Noah’s son, Ham, father of African and Black races, had four boys… Cush, Mizraim, Phut and Canaan, Genesis 10:6. Cush was father of the Ethiopians (Gen 2:13; 10:6) and the people living within Asia and Africa. Cush means “black” and Ethiopia means “man witha sunburned face.” Jeremiah13:23 says, “Can the Ethiopian changehis skin…?”

Mizraim fathered the Egyptians and his name means “children of the sun.” Eventually, they even started worshipping it, but that’s another story. Ham is derived from the Egyptian name “Kam,” the srongest word in the Egyptian language for “black.” The book of Psalms refers to Egypt as “the land of Ham” (Ps 78:51; 105:23, 26. 27; 106:21,22). Phut was father of the nation of Libya, (Ezekiel 27:10; 38:5; Jer 46:9 and Nah 3:9). Libya means “black” also.

Ham’s youngest son was Canaan, cursed by Noah in Genesis 9:20-26. Though we’ve all heard of Ethiopia, Egypt and Libya, strange how there’s no Canaan today. Note: Contrary to the teaching of SOME, it was NOT the entire black race that was cursed, only the Canaanites, because of Canaan’s sin. They were the original inhabitants of Israel (1 Chr 4:40) but exist no more. My, how they could have been blessed! Yes, there ARE long-term consequences for sin, affecting even our descendants.

Noah’s sons migrated, spreading out all over the earth: Japheth’s people to modern Europe, Shem’s to the Middle East. Ham’s descendants went to southern Arabia, Africa, and India. Cush had a son named Nimrod (Gen 10:10) who built the tower of Babel as well as Erech, Accad and Calneh near the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, the starting point of all civilization (Gen 10:10; 11:1).

Cush’s descendants founded powerful Assyria, builders of Ninevah.

The Bible gives no record of Phut’s geneology.

Ham’s decendants included Menelik, offspring of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon, to whom Ethiopians trace their historical roots.

Joseph married an Egyptian woman (Gen 41:50-52) so his sons, Manasseh and Ephraim definitely had Hamitic (Black) blood.

Jethro was Ethiopian and converted to Judaism because of Moses’ testimony (Ex 18:1-12).

Moses was married to an Ethiopian woman, too, (Numbers 12:1). Was she black? Could have been! In Numbers 12, Miriam and Aaron began opposing Moses because of his Cushite (Ethiopian) wife, showing contempt for her ancestry. This angered the Lord and Miriam was stricken with leprosy (interestingly, this disease would not only make MIRIAM the outcast from the community, but her skin became REALLY white as a result of the disease. Poetic justice? After Moses pleaded on her behalf, God healed her and returned her to the camp). NOTE: It is my contention that Miriam’s REAL problem was not so much with Moses’ wife as it was with his prophetic gift and his special relationship with God. Perhaps she went for the obvious (Miriam’s fleshtone) rather than humbllng herself and admitting to Moses how she envied him.

The Scripture does not indicate any prohibition against Jews marrying Cushites (Ethiopians) and they seemed to have had good relations with them (Amos 9:7; Ps 68:31; Zeph 3:10; Is 11:11).

Jehudi was a secretary in the king’s court during Jeremiah’s time and was a descendeant of Cushi (Jer 36:14,21,23) as was the prophet Zephaniah.

From Ham’s lineage came Joshua, and David’sgrandmother, Rahab, a Canaanite. Bath-sheba means”daughterof Sheba.” Sheba is listed in Ham’s family registry, Genesis 7.

Bath-sheba was married to Uriah the Hittite, whose roots can be traced to Ham’s grandson, Heth (Gen 10:15). King Solomon’s complexion and hair are described as black but beautiful (Song of Solomon 5:10,11).

Moving to the New Testament times, scholars believe the wise men who sought the baby Jesus (no biblical record of there being only three) were Ethiopians because the gold, frankincense, and myrrh were plentiful in southern Arabia and east Africa.

The Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:26-39 undoubtedly brought Christianity to Ethiopia.
Simon the Canaanite was considered to be a Black apostle (Matt 10:4).

Simon of Cyrene, who helped Jesus carry His cross, was probably a descendant of Ham since Cyrene was in North Africa.

Apollos (Acts 18:24) came from Ham, too. Certainly, nations that descended from Ham were there at Pentecost (Acts 2) with the establishment of the Church.

Simeon, or Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene were leaders of the Antioch Church (Acts 13:1). The people of these regions were black. These were the men who ordained and commissioned the great apostle Paul.

JESUS: Man of Many Colors

Jesus was of mixed ancestory. You heard right… Jesus was mixed! Our Lord was a person of color! Though He was primarily Semetic, of the five ladies referred to in His geneology, Tama, Rahab, Ruth, Bath-sheba, and Mary, the first four descended from Ham, Noah’s Black son (Matt 1:1-16).

Let’s face it, folks, man looks at the outside, but God looks at the heart (1 Sam 16:7). It doesn’t matter if you’re green with orange spots! He’s not looking for complexion or physical features. He’s not impressed by what we look like, talklike, or where we live. He doesn’t care how religious we are or how beautiful our church is. He doesn’t care how we dress, drive or what denomination we claim.

You see, there was no room at the Inn when our Saviour was born and now He’s looking at our hearts, regardless of our epidermal hue, to see if there’s room there for Him to rule each individual’s life as Lord.

No matter what color our epidermis may be, the question we must answer is: are we available?

: 7:58 am: adminLiving With Software

You can quickly and easily spend thousands of dollars buying software for your computer.

Since there are so many great computer programs out there, it’s hard to resist the buying impulse.

However, before you start shelling out your hard earned money buying software for your computer, there are several things you should consider:

1. Why do I need this software?

2. Is there a free version that will work just as well?

3. What’s the difference among freeware, shareware, free trials, open source, etc.?

Freeware is simply software that you can get for free. Sometimes it has advertising in it, and sometimes it doesn’t. The downside of using freeware is that it might not be stable, or it contains advertising.

Shareware is where you get a full version of the software, and you get to try all of the features for a certain period of time. Then, if you want to keep it, you have to pay the fee.

Free trials allow you to try the software, but not all of the features are enabled, so you will have to upgrade to get everything to work.

Open Source is free software that has been developed by volunteer programmers and is freely available. You can even edit the source code if you like. The downside is that not all open source software is stable, and it can cause problems on your computer.

There are also other types of software, like donationware, or lite versions of the software. With lite versions, you get a working version of the software, but some of the features are disabled. Unlike a free trial, you can continue to use the lite version forever.

Below are five sites where you can get some great software for your computer.

Some of these sites are free. Others, you have to buy the software, but it’s definitely worth the investment.

Freeware Home - http://www.freewarehome.com - This is absolutely one of the best websites on the internet. It contains over 7,000 programs that are all free. The programs are all full versions of the software, and there are tons of categories. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, you’ll be hard pressed to find it anywhere else.

Doug Knox - http://www.dougknox.com - This site is actually more of a site for scripts you can run on your computer. All of the scripts are designed to fix various computer problems you may be having. You’ll also find information on different operating systems as well, so this is a good all around computer resource to help you solve your computer problems.

Snap and Pop - http://www.snapnpopdragon.com/ - This program isn’t free, but I felt it was important to mention it.

This site offers a free ecourse to show you how to tweak your computer so that you can get better performance out of it. The software is especially good for anyone who is new to computers because it can help you maximize your resources, as well as fix any computer problems, and you don’t need to be a computer geek to do it.

Webmaster Free - http://www.webmasterfree.com - If you are a webmaster, or you’re considering building a website, this site is absolutely invaluable.

You’ll find every possible tool you can imagine to help you build, upload, and promote your website. Although there are plenty of free trials and shareware located here, there’s enough free software on this site to keep you browsing for days. This site is part of the iEntry Network, where you can find tons of information on just about anything, especially if it’s related to business.

Jumbo - http://www.jumbo.com - This is one of the oldest software sites on the internet and contains thousands of programs. You can find all kinds of freeware, shareware, free trials, and other computer software to download. This site also offers software for just about any operating system. Part of the internet.com network.

There are tons of places on the internet to find free software. However, it’s important that you use a reliable site to find it. Otherwise, you can end up with all kinds of spyware, adware, and malware on your computer, and it will cause you all kinds of problems.

Avoid all of that by surfing on reliable sites. These sites will keep you surfing for days, and you’ll find tons of great software for your computer.

What Is Collage?

According to the dictionary, collage art is an artistic composition made of various materials (as paper, cloth or wood) glued on a surface. The word comes from the French word “coller,” meaning to glue or to paste.

It really is that simple! You use any materials or found objects that you like and glue them down to create a piece of art. You can call it by other names: montage, assemblage, or decoupage. But it all comes down to the same thing: collage- a layering of images, color, and texture.

Other art forms (such as painting, carving, weaving, or sculpture) require that you start from ground zero. You have an empty canvas, a slab of clay, a silent loom, an unformed block of wood… and you wait for an idea to take hold of you before you begin.

Collage art is unique because you take already existing materials to make your piece of art. You begin by gathering the bits and pieces you want to use and laying them down however you like. You don’t need to know how to draw.
You don’t even need to consider yourself an artist! All you need is an open mind and the willingness to explore.

Mixed Media Collage uses various materials (fabric, yarn, paper, metal, wood) as well as paint, chalk, clay…anything you can get your hands on!

You’ll Never Make A Mistake!

As you begin to play around with multi-media collage, you’ll discover yourself moving closer and closer to the creative child within. This inner playful child holds the key to your creative voice. Collage art is all about playing around with materials and colors and images, gluing them down and seeing what happens next.

The best part is- there is no way to make a mistake. You can’t go wrong with collage, no matter how hard you try! If you don’t like the way something looks, you simply paste something on top of it, or paint over it and add something different.
Let me repeat the magical eight words- there is no way to make a mistake.

Multi-Media Collage Materials

For the base of your collage, you can use:

  • mat board
  • illustration board
  • 300 lb. watercolor paper
  • canvas board

I find canvas board to be the best if you are using paint or any wet media in your collage art work. It is the sturdiest and least likely to lose its shape when wet. Also, I like the texture that the canvas immediately gives to my work.

You will succeed with any of the following adhesives:

  • acrylic medium

  • gel medium

  • double-sided tape

  • double-sided foam

  • spray adhesives (use with caution because of the fumes!

  • tacky glue

  • E-6000

You will need to experiment with the different kinds of glue until you find the one that you like the best. Keep in mind that one collage piece might use more than one type of glue.
You can buy these materials (and lots more collage art supplies!) at your local art store or craft warehouse.

Found Objects:

It’s hard to make a set list of things you can include in your collage art. That’s because anything and everything in your life can be incorporated into a collage! The possibilities are limitless because there are no rules when it comes to this fascinating art form.

Here is a partial list of the collage materials I have on the shelves of my art room:

  • ribbon
  • decorative and handmade paper
  • yarn
  • paper tags
  • stickers
  • slide frame holders
  • acrylic paint
  • seashells
  • beads
  • sea glass
  • charms
  • old jewelry
  • old photos
  • jigsaw puzzle pieces
  • buttons
  • feathers
  • pigment ink pads
  • copper foil
  • wrapping paper
  • Scrabble tiles
  • pretty napkins
  • old playing cards
  • bottle caps
  • rubber stamps
  • keys
  • used cd’s
  • raffia
  • glitter
  • marbles
  • corrugated cardboard

Take a look around your house and see what loose odds and ends you can gather up to put into a basket for your next collage.

8 Easy Steps- Make A Collage!

1. Decide on a base and a glue to start with.

2. Gather a basket of papers and found objects that will add depth, texture, and meaning to your piece. Choose only colors and objects and images that you like!

3. Rip a few pieces of textured paper at random and glue them down onto the base.

4. Add a few more pieces of a different colored paper until the background is covered.

5. Reach into your basket and take out the first thing you touch. It might be a shell, a feather, a piece of fabric, a photo of you when you were 6.

6. Glue it down too!

7. Step back and look at your piece, but not too closely. Does it need some more background? Add it! Does the background look okay? If not, just add some more pieces from your basket, or dab some ink or paint in a few different spots.

8. If you’re listening within, your inner artist (creative voice) will tell you when you’re finished!

When you’re done with this collage art piece, you can go on to create as many more as you like! It’s really not hard. Collage art is fun, and a wonderful way to self-expression!
